Mako's mellowed out over the years, but I can totally see him getting provoked into a fight if Sov prods at him enough. On the other hand he probably won't see it as a totally negative thing and depending on how it works out might even consider the fight to have brought them closer to being friends. Especially if he sees the guy not being jerks to kids.

Man I love YGO! so much, so seeing a Mako makes me really happy. <3

I definitely see these two being the kind who kinda try to one up each other and then definitely end up respecting each other bc of it? I dig it and look forward to their eventual broship :v Even if Uldren respects him though there'll be some head butting maybe - it'll be fun to see what these two get up to!

Oh yeah, Mako can definitely still get competitive. But he was already the type to befriend people after a good battle, though he'll be sad he can't challenge Uldren to a card duel.

As a mun I'm particularly sad we can't play children's card games together - that woulda been fun xD

There'd been some quiet talk about the elves maybe making cards or something, but I haven't pursued it for Ash's triple triad so I don't know how much of an actual thing that is, granted YGO has way more cards lol

Yeah, Mako's also not one of those weird obsessives who's memorized the exact text and stats of his entire deck.
