Project Purple Census
Hi everyone! Roland-player here! How is everybody doing?
As we welcome another month of Platform + Mission time, I'd love it if you could share some feedback on a project to help organize the large character-base of Purple. We have structured it as a very basic form to fill out, applicable only to mission-time, and the objectives are to 1. get to know your characters, 2. what are they comfortable bringing to the table, and 3. how can we help you thread around using your character's strengths and talents. I've also categorized roles and possible responsibilities for everyone's consideration.
Please see the sample form down below, and other relevant details:
Per mission history, Purple usually receives mission goals that are oriented towards certain levels of combat and protection of groups (towns, escorting, evacuation on-site). Hence why we are seeing a particular schema of roles for the group, namely:
Here is a sample of the form we wish to send out, as filled up by This Guy.
We will be launching the official OOC post for collecting entries by tomorrow (Platform Day), but please do sound off here if this is something we are all interested in and if there are other suggestions to add. Again, the only goal is to encourage tagging out and threading with one another, since Purple has the most characters to spare. Moreover, none of this is a binding agreement to stick to Purple, except for the Leads and Inventory Managers. If your character is feeling like joining another team's mission, please feel free to do so. ICly, the only requirement is letting leads/liaisons (now) know about it. We want to be as flexible as possible.
Additionally, if you’re from another team but regularly - or believe you will regularly - join Purple in the foreseeable future, then feel free to fill out the form too. Just indicate it when writing your character's name. :)

🟣 Lead: Resource and talent management, team organisers; keeps track of team, arranges meetings; available on and off mission. Currently populated by Glorfindel & Roland.
🟣 NEW! Liaisons: Would help keep track of said team members, helps with morale; will notify a lead or request aid when necessary; during off-mission season, can help answer questions and support team efforts (this is optional)
🟣 EDITED! Inventory Managers: The Supply Line's main coordinator; keeps stock of the number of supplies on the train (ICly and OOCly), distributes them to members of Purple before missions; ensures everyone is well-equipped with food, water, and other such necessities when on another world.
🟣 NEW! Combatants: As stated on the tin. These are for characters who primarily function best or prefer being on the frontline and holding enemies back. Applies to both Physical and magical fighters.
🟣 EDITED! Non-Combatants: These would include those inclined towards being Medics (healing via magical or non-magical means); Gathering (for those who enjoy gathering resources and equipment on missions to take back to the train, if and when available); Supply Runners (those who can spread the supplies out straight from the Inventory Manager. Essentially, they are what liaisons are to leads); and Communications (for those who are fond of quick chats over the SCA which only go online during mission days.)

This definitely sounds great; maybe add a section for SpecOps, though? People who would be needed to go in alone/small squads to do Specific Goals, etc.

If your character has canon/CRAU history doing work of that nature, please feel free to add that later under what else we should know about them :) Thankfully, the missions we receive are already structured according to team Specific Goals - here is the latest mission preceding the one we will have this March as an example of what I mean! The Teams will have goals to work towards regardless of roles. But again, please feel free to offer that specialization up so if something ~spicy~ happens, we will know who has the chops for it!

Supply Talk
You don’t need to fuss too much about how things work or updating it - it’s there just as an idea of what’s available, and a rough idea of how supplies can be distributed, or might be. While there are numbers going into the 100s for some things like the potions, these are items that have to be ordered, so your character would need to think about that.
But if you have anything to add, add it in! It can also be up to your characters to decide what the team needs more of, what certain characters may need in the team… or whatever’s fun!
Just so it’s clear, food can be put into the Arms Bands as it’ll preserve them. So if there’s a thought of ‘but how is this keeping’, ta daaa. Roland can have ICly explain how the bands work to your character, or even Cassie would be a good candidate, having been responsible for the team supplies for quite a while. :) Just to note, if more are desired, it would be up to Roland to buy, as they’re limited to being bought by the character whose canon they come from.
(If you need me to OOCly explain them however at all, lmk!)
Soo, yes! This is just for any OOC chatting or to get us all on the same page. My own character won’t be involved in this - again, I’m just OOCly helping out. o7 If there are any IC discussions you would like of course, that can be arranged if everyone’s down for it.
There's no real 'roles' or head of operations, though Cassie (again) has experience with the team already, and Soldat has a preference for tracking food stock and supplying accordingly.

Trunks (or Bulla, or anyone else from DBZ land) can also order senzu beans which are healing items. From the Wikia "When eaten, the consumer's energy and physical health are restored to their fullest; the effects are typically almost instantaneous for the recipient, making these beans a great asset both in and out of battle. Their texture is said to be a cross between an uncooked (or under-ripe) bean and a celery stalk, and Yajirobe states that Senzu Beans taste like fish.[6] One bean can keep a person full for ten days,[7] though some who have eaten the beans have become hungry sooner, due to their naturally larger appetite (namely Saiyans as they generally eat much larger amounts of food)."
That said, a Senzu bean will heal any injury short of death. Trunks has already donated 5 to the greenhouse to be grown, 25 to general medical supplies (with instructions), and keeps 20 on himself in his ARMS band if needed.

Would we want any Capsule items? Like mini-fridges to store meds in? or crates for the same, and easy storage otherwise?

(*But of course if there's anyone who would ICly think this is worth having between the managers, go ahead. I'm only thinking of the current supplies, but it also depends on what else you think would be good to get in too!)
How many capsules do you get per order, btw? Would be good to know how many + the cost. Since I'm not sure if it's one or more!
There's also size restrictions for what can 'pop out' of a capsule, right? Due to ordering restrictions. Or could modification be made to what comes out of a capsule? (With Trunks and Bulma being around, even). Since that might be fun to mess around with possibly, ICly! If your character or any were to have the thought. Since a tent then could maybe be made that could be used for just a rest place/medical if necessary. Or any other potentially useful functions.
From helping with the Purple census, most of Purple Team's healers (that have submitted to it) are magical healers. Which I would say the Inventory Managers would be aware of, since they can provide them ethers, etc, for their trips.

Modifications to the size of what pops out would have to be discussed with the mods, as currently we're limited to no larger than a suitcase. (so sadly no motorcycles or small houses yet.)
