Project Purple Census
Hi everyone! Roland-player here! How is everybody doing?
As we welcome another month of Platform + Mission time, I'd love it if you could share some feedback on a project to help organize the large character-base of Purple. We have structured it as a very basic form to fill out, applicable only to mission-time, and the objectives are to 1. get to know your characters, 2. what are they comfortable bringing to the table, and 3. how can we help you thread around using your character's strengths and talents. I've also categorized roles and possible responsibilities for everyone's consideration.
Please see the sample form down below, and other relevant details:
Per mission history, Purple usually receives mission goals that are oriented towards certain levels of combat and protection of groups (towns, escorting, evacuation on-site). Hence why we are seeing a particular schema of roles for the group, namely:
Here is a sample of the form we wish to send out, as filled up by This Guy.
We will be launching the official OOC post for collecting entries by tomorrow (Platform Day), but please do sound off here if this is something we are all interested in and if there are other suggestions to add. Again, the only goal is to encourage tagging out and threading with one another, since Purple has the most characters to spare. Moreover, none of this is a binding agreement to stick to Purple, except for the Leads and Inventory Managers. If your character is feeling like joining another team's mission, please feel free to do so. ICly, the only requirement is letting leads/liaisons (now) know about it. We want to be as flexible as possible.
Additionally, if you’re from another team but regularly - or believe you will regularly - join Purple in the foreseeable future, then feel free to fill out the form too. Just indicate it when writing your character's name. :)

🟣 Lead: Resource and talent management, team organisers; keeps track of team, arranges meetings; available on and off mission. Currently populated by Glorfindel & Roland.
🟣 NEW! Liaisons: Would help keep track of said team members, helps with morale; will notify a lead or request aid when necessary; during off-mission season, can help answer questions and support team efforts (this is optional)
🟣 EDITED! Inventory Managers: The Supply Line's main coordinator; keeps stock of the number of supplies on the train (ICly and OOCly), distributes them to members of Purple before missions; ensures everyone is well-equipped with food, water, and other such necessities when on another world.
🟣 NEW! Combatants: As stated on the tin. These are for characters who primarily function best or prefer being on the frontline and holding enemies back. Applies to both Physical and magical fighters.
🟣 EDITED! Non-Combatants: These would include those inclined towards being Medics (healing via magical or non-magical means); Gathering (for those who enjoy gathering resources and equipment on missions to take back to the train, if and when available); Supply Runners (those who can spread the supplies out straight from the Inventory Manager. Essentially, they are what liaisons are to leads); and Communications (for those who are fond of quick chats over the SCA which only go online during mission days.)
