My hiatus, Curufin's disappearance, and Orange Team roles
Hi, this is Haze, Curufin's player!
I'm on hiatus and won't be back before March 21, and Curufin is currently disappeared (see Eva's network post), but I'm still wrapping up current threads, and I thought I'd help out with some Orange Team matters.
There was an Orange Team meeting in January, and then Fenix, Eva's player, posted in the OOC comm to clarify the team roles and give people another chance to volunteer their characters.
Here are the official team roles so far:
Junior Team Leads- basically, help out with the team and be ready to step up in the event the Leads (Eva and Curufin) are incapacitated somehow.
Quartermasters- basically those who look after the team’s Arms Band and manage mission supplies. At least two are wanted, and ideally, it'd be a lead and a junior, but whatever works is good.
Lead and Junior Medics - basically, the teams often get separated via colour on the missions. This role is basically medic as needed. Magic is not required. At least two are wanted, and ideally, it'd be a lead and a junior, but whatever works is good.
Comms people - What it says on the tin. People to watch (and in the case of All to Orange, manage?) Orange Team Comms/The comms in general. The leads and Junior Leads should be around to help to the best they can, but OOC life happens.
I went back and re-read these two posts, and collected the names of characters who volunteered for specific roles (not necessarily the ones listed above), and then of players who volunteered their characters for specific roles. As follows:
Volunteers during the Orange Team meeting:
Rich – comms
Senku – medical, science and engineering, junior lead
S’ree – junior team lead & first aid
Lan Xichen – healer & emergency transportation
Takato and Guilmon – fighter
Characters who were volunteered by their players for various roles under Fenix's OOC post:
Senku – medic
Lan Xichen – helper medic
Bulma – junior team lead
S’ree – junior team lead & wizard healer
Cassie Lang – medic & quartermaster
Kaiba – electronics repair classes
Clef – quartermaster (before and after missions, not during)
Selenay – junior team lead (if I understood her right) & comms
Conan – emergency first aid instructor
Ryo -- unofficial healer
If I've missed anybody or made a mistake, please post here to let the team know. And if you didn't volunteer your character in either of these posts but want to do it now, please post below.
Also, since Curufin's not here, the junior team leads might want to step up and help her. Here's the list from above:
