Welcome everyone to the Voidtrecker Express! I hope everyone is excited for the journey to begin. Here is some information before we depart.

Game Start

The journey begins on 1st July 6am GMT. An intro post will go up for you to jump into! Please familiar yourselves with gameplay and setting if you haven’t already and remember to ask any questions you might have.

Monthly Info

This month is the month of Apple. It has thirty days and you can check the calendar here.

The ‘thought of the month’ is: "A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles." and the challenge is to make new CR! Every thread in July and August where your character is meeting someone new will earn you two Team Points. It might be worth having a tracking post throughout the two months. Threads for this challenge can be submitted in August’s AC.

Recipes for this month are here. The ingredients for these recipes are in the store room as well as basics (flour, pasta, noddles, rice, milk, eggs etc).

This months chore assignments are:

Purple: Meal Preparation
Red: Laundry
Orange: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
Blue: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas

Important Dates

This months event will be an on world event between 13th and 26th July. An Info and Plotting post will go up on 8th July.

The TDM will be on the 15th July and reserves will open then. Applications will be open between the 19th and the 26th July.

About you: GMT+10/ I am Australian and my main interest is pokemon and dragons. Also writing and various other things I find on youtube that amuse me, such as bbc documentaries.

Character: Eva Iden'no (Leaf)
Canon: Pokemon AU that is Live Action (and the pokemon do look different than the cartoonish depictions) where all the protags are ladies who are more or less dragged into the higher-stakes plot against their will, though they are not the center of it.
Cabin and team: Orange, 1 C
Little bit about them: Eva is a Good Person and also an adult. Though sometimes she forgets that because lbr here. She comes from a world of pokemon and is a young adult who likes adventure. She also comes with a male clefairy named Princess. Also she will happily talk ears off re: pokemon.
Hopes and dreams: Just all the CR. Making new friends, talking about pokemon. Adopting the kids and teens. At the end of her tether Eva having Princess Sing people to sleep because it's a legit tactic in the pokemon world.

Canon: OC! Her world is 'generic fantasy' and she comes from a sprawling city state.

Little bit about them: Tiny shadow sworn wanabee assassin. Little One comes from a fantasy world that is very low in technology (what on earth is a train?) and was brought up to serve a god of chaos and darkness. She's mostly just a brat and I apologise a thousand times over for any trouble she gets into.
Hopes and dreams: Just everything, I am very excited. Little One won't trust weird strangers on magical metal boxes easily so, making friends will be the first hurdle.

Character: Lightning (although the train is MEAN and is using her legal name Claire Farron)
Canon: Final Fantasy XIII, though she's a bit of an official AU because she's been through the world of Dissidia Duodecim. Which mostly just means she's got three more points in Dying For Your Friends which she earned for all of her memories being shredded and reconstituted.
Cabin and team: 1A, RED team.
Little bit about them: School dropout turned career police force to look after her sister, ends up becoming a magical slave warrior of a demigod when that demigod takes said sister, promptly decides the best solution is to kill all demigods and hecka follows through. Gets pulled into a 'world of battle' jamjar, fixes invasion of clones, dies.
Hopes and dreams: please sir she wants to protect everyone. Aggressive big sistering is the dream. Also, are we gonna form a small union of space train cops.

Hopes and dreams: Wants friends. Probably gonna end up falling for Peter Parker, will big sister anyone younger than her. Will gladly protect the entire damn train if she has to.

Little bit about them: Handsome Gateau Chocolat Too Bitter, Too Into Herself For This World. Hibiki is an entertainment superstar with a narcissism problem, a temper problem, a trauma problem, a dressing-up-like-a-phantom-thief-when-she-doesn't-get-what-she-wants problem, a cute-catchphrases-allergy problem, a teacup-dropping-when-she's-aghast problem, a fixation-on-revolution problem, and a snobbishness problem. The only thing she doesn't have a problem with is believing she can do anything. Also judging people. She does that very well. (Here and here are pretty much everything you need to know about Hibiki. Sorry about no subs on the second one.)
Hopes and dreams: Hibiki would dearly love to find someone worthy of serving and/or conversing with her. I fully understand that she is a cartoonish pain in the ass and look forward to any sort of CR, because the more pissed off she is, the funnier she gets.

He's a genius at mechanics and has the curiosity of a cat on crack. Just fyi, he's arriving seriously injured too but he won't talk about it if he can help it. Just in case you want to talk to him but are afraid of spoilers.
Hopes and dreams: I'm looking forward to meeting new people, new characters and new canons. I'm pretty canon blind, sorry.

Little bit about them:

Dread's huge. Really really huge. 7'5" and built like a statue of solid broad muscle. So you get to deal with that.

Despite that, he's a pretty easygoing guy and VERY conscious of his size, whose shtick is basically that he should help out where he can, and he's developed a hell of a lot of power to do just that. Despite being put through all sorts of hell in canon, he's generally happy guy, because he remembers always that he's doing what he chose to do. Also his wife is here, so no grumpiness from missing her.

Hopes and dreams: No romance, because he's taken! But beyond that, I want all sorts of CR for him, and the opportunity to be maybe a mentor to those of you who are heroes, and a friend to those of you who need one.

Little bit about them:

Meet Team Mom, all 4' 9'1/2" of her. She may be tiny, but she's still full of sass, even if most of you are taller than she is. Also, she's the aforementioned wife of the giant lug above!

Really, she's usually very sweet-natured and kind, the type to rest a hand on your forearm (since she probably can't reach your shoulder) and ask if you're okay. Make sure you're eating properly. She's not the type to dwell on the crap dealt her in canon anyway, so she's fairly happy as well. Also she won't be cranky because her husband is MIA.

Hopes and dreams: Romance is right out, but beyond that, come to me with your CR! She's a listening ear and a good counselor (or at least she tries to be), so other than wooing, anything goes!
