About you: CST. He/him or they/them. I'm currently a medical scribe for a urology practice but I'm gonna go back for my master's in cybersecurity. Mostly a pve gamer with varied interests. Current hyperfoci include Cyberpunk 2077, Dead Cells, Ghostrunner, a permanent focus on Bloodborne, a waning focus in FFXIV.

I run an FFXIV raid group and am consistently tired. I raid TWR 1830-2100 so Wednesdays you can expect to not hear anything from me unless I stay up late because I low key enjoy suffering.

Character: V
Canon: Cyberpunk 2077, after the temperance ending. Which essentially means he's weirded out by being a real boy again.
Cabin and team: 5E, Blue
Little bit about them: A kid born in the streets of Night City he grew up hard. He's used to existing in an uncaring world where everyone's fighting for scraps and scrambling over each other to grasp at success. He's got a lot of walls and abandonment issues so he keeps people at arms length, but he's a sweet guy underneath it all if you're willing to play the long game. I have bunches of appearance references n stuff on his profile if you're curious.
Hopes and dreams:
Super duper excited for him to inherit Reggie on first contact. If nobody tells V the name of that cat he'll rename it, but we'll see what happens with him. ovo (This man loves cats so much guys.)

He's gonna be a bit of an endurance run in terms of CR but I really would like for him to learn to trust that there will be people there for him that have his back? He had that in NC but ultimately everyone either died or left, and by the time he got to his boyfriend he opted not to stick around because of the intense fear that Ker would leave him in the end. He heavily does not wish to be adopted, he's been looking out for himself since a very young age, thank you. But lasting friendships, drinking buddies, etc.

Currently taking bets on how long it takes him to get into a fire fight with Handsome Jack.

So both Otoha and Ken hit the 'street kid' sort of thing - Ken's obviously more recent to it while Otoha... yeah from what I know of Cyberpunk he'd probably slot in just fine. No idea of how actual plot went in game but lmao.

I think that V and Otoha will get along pretty well, and Otoha will have another person who can talk about trans/bi stuff with d: But yeah I think they'll get along well enough. V's less inclined to fight though

I'm uncertain how V and Ken will react with each other. From what we've chatted about I have a feeling V's not going to care for Ken very much. Who knows what'll happen though, I've been wrong before lol

tbh most of my knowledge is going off that one BDG video and watching someone play for like half an hour and also skimming through some of the sourcebooks.

We'll see how it goes! Ken may just end up yelling at him lmao

outside of having to constantly refer to cpRED for certain technology reasons because there's some weird evolution of the tech in the ttrpg game which makes certain assumptions and usages differ from irl i barely have read the source material. which i need to, but. spoons, you know? so i'm running mostly off of cp2077 stuff fwiw - i'm sure i'll make some mistakes, but it's less important... here... (i really need to brush up on history from the 2040s to present bc that's most directly relevant to v)

that's honestly completely valid. i just want my spoons to return from the war so i can dig in quite a bit deeper bc it's something i super love but brain just is shrugging hard at me right now when i try to hop into the campaign books.

V will talk to Rich about gender shit whenever because if there's one place where V's actually healthy and at peace it's with his body and who he is in that regard and Rich should just be himself and stop trying so hard

honestly I feel like this is where V's gonna adopt this kid because that's a hard path to walk alone
