About you: I'm an accountant with three cats living in Southern California, so that's PST timezone. I work from home (yay quarantine, she says, sarcastically) so I tend to be a pretty quick tagger with my boy here, since I can tag from, y'know, work. So far y'all have been extremely welcoming already, I'm excited!

Character: Bucky Barnes who, due to his CRAU and weird canon point, goes by the name "Soldat"
Canon: MCU, by way of a little horror game called In the Night, which then morphed into The Next Night. He's been there a year and a half.
Cabin and team: Cabin 4A, team purple!
Little bit about them: Former brainwashed amnesiac assassin who has spent a year in a dark, dead world talking to spirits and fending off horrible things while trying to put himself back together and help people. Canon point is directly from the helicarrier fight in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, before he's even fished Steve out of the river. He's not entirely stable yet... but he's on his way there, and he's a lot better than he was. He doesn't yet consider himself a person, though he'll admit that he used to be one, and he's kind of Weird compared to canon, thanks to natural development dovetailing with horror-game events.
Hopes and dreams: People to protect and/or take care of, people to poke at his personhood issues, people to freak out that he's basically disassociated all to hell and talks to himself. He's just lost his family, so he's gonna need to start building a new one, cuz connections to people are how he stays semi-stable. Also open to negative CR if things ever go that way, he does in fact have Opinions about some kinds of people. I'm aware there has been another Bucky here in the past and I am excited to have those characters who knew him before to recognize him again and form new connections. There are also characters in this game he has known from his previous game, and I'm happy to go with whatever those muns wanna do when it comes to recognition or not <3
WEIRD CRAU NOTES: ICly Bucky goes by Soldat, because "James Barnes" and "Bucky" had been hard-conditioned against by HYDRA and he didn't have his moment with the Smithsonian exhibit to help him get over that, but he has gotten comfortable enough that he won't freak out anymore when he hears them. He just might... twitch a little and then gently correct anyone who uses it (except Steve, maybe; we'll see). He also uses "they" pronouns ICly, but this is not because he's genderfluid, it's because 1) he's not a person (we're working on this, I promise) and he was informed in no uncertain terms that "they" is better than "it", and 2) he is, as mentioned before, heavily disassociated and so is technically people, plural. I do not expect OTHER CHARACTERS to use these pronouns, cuz he mostly doesn't bother share them except by accident. I tend not to bother in OOC talk half the time, myself, like for introductions like this so I don't feel like I confuse people right out of the gates >.>

hi hi gail, it's nice to meet you! i'm jelle and i play inigo here, and if you're looking for people to take care of or building a family, well.. good news! inigo was really close with the bucky who used to be in the game, to a point where inigo treated that bucky like a big brother and that bucky treated inigo like a little brother in turn, mostly since they bonded over issues. (since inigo ended up having to become practically a child soldier when he was very young due to Circumstances...)

so it's going to be so weird for him to suddenly have a different bucky here, especially one that doesn't even know him! but i'm definitely up for building new cr and seeing where it goes. c:

Hello, hello! I'm Nic and I'm very excited to see Bucky here. Also, his CRAU bits sound super interesting!

I have Dyme here, who got pretty close to the previous Bucky. As in, they dated briefly and Dyme was planning a surprise romantic date for them that never happened. So he's going to be, in order: thrilled to see Bucky and then very, very confused. Probably also a little sad. I'm excited to break Dyme's heart again start their cr anew.

I also play Adam Parrish from The Raven Cycle who's never met Bucky but I'd love to throw his way sometime. Adam's a good kid, very patient and kind and he's been through A Lot (abuse, making deals with magical forests, losing people, etc).

My work schedule is 4 PM to midnight from Thursday to Monday, so tagging can be a little sporadic during those times and before that I might not be conscious. I'm usually up until stupid o'clock my time, though.

Character: Yosuke Otoha. Please just call him by his family name, it's all he'll give out.
Canon: Karas aka "Tatsunoko wanted to celebrate its 40th anniversary with a show that was flashy but forgot to invest in plot"
Cabin and team: 1A, which now holds two assassins in close proximity. He's red team.
Little bit about them: A former yakuza enforcer who is fast enough to dodge and/or cut through bullets and guns with a sword. He 'died' (or was about to) and accidentally contracted with the will of the city of Shinjuku (called a yurine) and became its guardian (called a Karas). He then had to go kill the previous Karas who was going to kill a lot of humans to force them to believe in yokai again (which function off of human belief). Killing is all he knows outside of a small bit of herbal medicine. He's not totally incapable of other things, but...
Hopes and dreams: Step one is convincing him that he's not a weapon that's just changed hands and is an actual person, tbh. Once that's at least initiated he can hopefully be of good use on missions when killing or force is required (though he'll have to be specifically informed not to kill and given a good reason).

Negative CR is fun with him since he actually will fight someone. Positive CR will be a little harder (except for cats because Canon Reasons) but he's able to be eventually worn down. He also can't feel pain and tends to rush into battle because of it, so he'll probably be in the medical car a lot. First time he gets locked in expect a breakout attempt.

Important Notes: As Otoha can't feel pain he tends to get injured a lot, as I said. Sometimes the injuries are very bad (though less so here) and I will warn in toplevels if description gets excessive or he's talking about a particularly bad one from his past. The other warning here is that his canon deals with incest, child abuse, murder, and a decent amount of body horror. I'll warn for all of those. (I mean murder will come up a lot probably but if it gets excessive it'll get a warning.)

Little bit about them: He's a shit post of a character. He will remember his previous time on the train and be VERY confused that the friends he made are all gone now. Prisoner can't talk because he doesn't have a mouth but he did learn sign language before leaving, and he can write, so if charades aren't going well do not fear! (I promise it's a good thing he can't talk, he'd say fuck a LOT.) I believe that he was once described as a character with incredibly high proficiency and incredibly low every other stat and that scanned. He can pick up anything and make it a weapon but he also is the most ungraceful thing to exist on this train.
Hopes and dreams: Everything. He'll rub certain people the wrong way and I will welcome that negative CR, he'll get along with others real well and I love the good CR, and he doesn't know what "nonlethal" means so *throws confetti*

Sorry I dunno what else to really add - he's a bit of an ass, he believes strongly that those in power should take care of those who have less (which is hugely ironic lmao), and he will fight. He's actually a puddle of goo that possesses headless bodies so the body is less important to him and he can make some rather stupid decisions because of it, but until he can make a friend willing to relieve a body of its head I won't destroy his body and show off his true self. Throw food in the fire, it heals him. His head also is good as a fire source for cooking, but it's polite to ask first.

Little bit about them: A princess of heart who is also a keyblade wielder who just wants to be able to fight with her friends. She is kind and gentle person, who can see through people even if they look completely different.
Hopes and dreams: Kairi just being able to be a badass and train and travel like her friends did... just... in a different way. As for CR Kairi is a pretty easy going person unless you piss her off in some way. Basically, if you ain't nice she might not like you.

Overall I just want Kairi to make friends, be able to help and fight and see what else happens.

Also she is from KH3 after training so she does come with magic, but she also has shorter hair than some of her icons...but there really isn't a lot of Short Haired Kairi icons thus why I am using her KH2 ones as well.

Lied his way into Project Rebirth and became Captain America during WWII. Got frozen during a bid to save the United States, unfrozen about 70 years later. Big heart but stubborn. Trouble prone. Not a fan of bullies.
Hopes and dreams: Everything? Steve is coming straight in from having a tiny identity crisis to finding out his best friend is alive, HYDRA is still around, and not sure where to go in a 'five year life plan' way. Positive CR, negative CR, making connections, and finding people who don't mind this human wrecking ball. He means well, honest.

He's an overworked tsundere who has complicated feelings over his boss' fiery himbo of a son, carrying around a plushie right now, awkward as hell when he's not being Death Incarnate, and is probably going to "mildly" panic at being trapped and what this means for the himbo trying to escape hell.
Hopes and dreams: Harass this god. Help him learn to have a life beyond his job. Sit him down for Emotions 101. Get him some sunglasses and earplugs because he's going to be suffering from sensory overload from being on the surface too long.

Character: Ryo
Canon: He's an OC! His world is a lot more magic-heavy than tech-heavy, to the point where he's never seen a train before, so this is going to be a fun ride.
Cabin and team: Orange team, cabin 4B.
Little bit about them: Ryo is a young, shy teenager who really does like people but is a little nervous around them - he's accustomed to being judged on sight, and while he's been out of that environment long enough to know it's not the case everywhere, he's still going to be uncertain being on his own. He's also a healer and basically will not leave you alone if you're injured - not until you get treatment.
Hopes and dreams: Ryo's character arc involves learning to stand up for himself, so he could use help with that! Friends his own age would be fantastic, as would mentor figures. (Adopt him. Please adopt him.) I'm also up for negative CR, but if someone starts off on the wrong foot with Ryo, he'll essentially avoid them as best he can, because he'd prefer to avoid the conflict.

Important Notes: Ryo has essentially a sixth sense that lets him sense others' life energy! There are more details here, but if you want to add details as to what your character would feel like, feel free to put them on that post.

Also, I'm currently a member of the one-icon club, but that should be changing within the next few days.

Little bit about them: Japanese teenager who got forcibly drafted into a weeklong survival 'game' because he happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. And then another, for bureaucratic reasons. Then a third, because shit went down that rendered the second game invalid. Along the way, he learned the Meaning of Friendship and fought the local god. All of this happened because of a bet and Neku just happening to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

He also has a set of pins that let him do cool things like throw stuff around telekinetically and control fire and lightning.

Hopes and dreams: Give me all the CR. Please adopt this cactus boy, he needs more friends and found family.

Little bit about them: The woman who tamed a saiyan prince (kinda) and a bonfide genius and richest woman in the world on her Earth. Bulma's a loud mouth with a lot of personality and frankly I don't blame anyone for finding her a little much or annoying, but she is also probably your way out of any and all tech jams that you may come upon.
Hopes and dreams: Honestly, I'm down for anything. Bulma's an adventurous little lady, despite not being as strong or fast as her family members, so there's no way she'll be hanging back. If you want any kind of CR with her, let me know and we can work it out!

Welcome! I'm Zoki, and I play Mami Tomoe from Madoka Magica (magicurls) and this loser: Seto Kaiba, perpetual second-placer of Yu-Gi-Oh.

I just wanted to fill you in on the room situation for your plans. So she's with Kaiba and Yugi, who are an awkward young couple. Don't worry, they're used to accommodating people and will give her as much space as possible in the cramped quarters.

Kaiba's also one of Orange's growing tech support crew, and he's relieved that they're getting more coverage in that department. Their main problem is the lack of inventing supplies, but they're working on it!

I enjoy a range of gaming, but at the moment I am playing Spelunky, Oxygen not Included, Stardew Valley, Diablo 3, HOTS, Skyrim, Food Fantasy (mobile), and Twisted Wonderland (mobile), despite having so many games in my Steam library, most I haven’t even played yet. I also enjoy a range of manga/manhwa across a range of genre, anything that catches my eye really, 100% recommend Solo Leveling and Eleceed right now. I also enjoy doing art, mostly digital, and often fan art.

Canon: Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie, with CRAU from Empathias.

Little bit about them: An angry little troll doll who likes to punch others in the face.
Hopes and dreams: Am happy to get him into a game again and stretch out and practice his voice again. Vegeta of course will be looking for anyone strong enough to put up a decent fight, but I am all for throwing people at him he has to tolerate and who annoy him. Any and all CR is more than welcomed.
