Princesses are the most powerful beings on my world. I'm a Princess, but I have no Runestone to channel mine. My power is in my hair. [Which is what's making her so mobile- and honestly, it's a great trick to have because she hates to touch people and the hair being there to do it for her makes a great buffer.] Most princesses can channel from their own Runestones, and that makes them crazy strong with their own unique abilities. She-Ra is the strongest Princess of them all.
Maybe it can be enhanced to handle larger readings! Or you could implement a failsafe to make it cap out at a certain level. Don't give up on a little piece of tech, you can always make it better.
[But then, right, one of those is her husband. She's... well, it's still technically a sort of crush. It's feeling she doesn't know what to do with yet. But if she's liked an alien, then maybe...]
