November Information and CR Meme!
We hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.
IC Month
This month is the month of Imagination. Days can be found here.
The thought of the month is "We are made to persist. That's how we find out who we are."
This means: Any thread that reaches 15 comments (total) will earn you two points.
Threads that fulfill this criteria can be submitted during December AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC!
Recipes are here. The ingredient of the month is Honey. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom and characters are welcome to make other food with them.
This month’s chore assignments are:
Blue: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Purple: Meal Preparation
Red: Laundry
Orange: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
The Train.
Coach M: Spa
This coach is a single coach. There is a corridor running on the left hand side with a door at either end of the carriage to lead into the spa itself. The main feature is a large, square, heated pool in three split tiers in the centre of the carriage. The pool can probably fit five strangers comfortably, or more at an awkward or familiar squeeze. The décor is pastel tiles and rich, pale wood, with long mirrors and sunlamps spaced along the walkways beside the pool.
At the back of the carriage there are two massage tables and a shelving unit with fluffy towels and various scented oils and lotions. On the other side of the pool - the front of the carriage - there are a row of ergonomic loungers, as well as a closed-off booth. This booth has a sliding train door and, inside, passengers will find a simple sauna large enough to fit a couple of people in at a time.
The ICP in this carriage can be programmed to play relaxing music or nature sounds like running water or birdsong. There is also a teaching course on massage techniques that consists of three hour-long lessons split into basic, intermediate, and advanced. There are team-coloured bathing suits and trunks in a small closet next to the entrances to the carriage.
This has been updated on the setting. Remember to let me know if your character does anything to alter the setting!

This month’s event will be a world event on the 13th of November. (An info and plotting post will go up on the 8th)
The TDM will be posted on the 15th. Reserves will open on the 19th. Apps are between the 21st and the 29th. AC will run from the 22nd to the 30th of November.
Other Info
We just wanted to say a few words about the Bonus AC challenges available every other month. For those who might not know, these challenges are optional extras that can earn you extra Team Points for your character. The challenges are intended to encourage and reward the ‘niceties’ of roleplay: tagging out, gathering new CR, finishing threads etc.
However this month we were disappointed to see a small minority of players who we felt did not keep to the spirit of the challenge. A new CR bonus challenge is designed to make sure our new players are welcomed, as well as to encourage mixing and new relationships between existing characters. Therefore it was disheartening to see characters with multiple threads submitted that they had dropped after a couple of tags.
We very much understand that everyone is busy, the world is stressful and everyone has a lot on their plate. One or two threads that have to be dropped for any reason being submitted for such a challenge is fine. However if the majority of threads submitted are being dropped after a tag or two it feels disingenuous.
Going forward we will be taking it up with any players who we feel are struggling with or abusing the system. We would like to thank the vast majority of you who kept to the spirit of the challenge, and we really enjoyed reading up on all the new CR you got out of it!

About them: Small assassin-in-training for a god of chaos and evil. She comes from a world in an eternal good vs evil fight and was born into the evil side. She is in deep cover on the train though thanks to some Stupid Mountain her secrets are not as deeply hidden as she would like. Also she's not great at pretending all the time.
She's a brat and she likes sweet things, she is glad that the train has finally understood that honey is a staple food. She is on Red team and in room 1:C. I love roommate shenanigans and also will be up for throwing her at people on the missions.
Plans: Nothing really! But she should get pulled into things. She's losing her first friend this platform so distractions will be good.

About them: Romeo's Blue Skies but a CRAU so he is weird. Romeo is an indentured chimney sweep from 1800s Italy who then died and went to a Japanese style heaven where he became a shinki (weapon for a god). His god is on the train too (Elfnein). He is a chearful child who wants to be friends with everyone, believes in working hard and teamwork! He is on Blue team and lives in cabin 2:D.
Plans: No plans, I am always up for planning though!

About them: 12 Kingdoms. Taiki is a kirin - a holy creature whose job it is to find he ruler of the land of Tai and serve them, keeping them on the correct path. Taiki's life went sideways when a storm blew his egg fruit to earth where he was born to a human family. He returns to his world when he is ten, finds his king, gets attacked in a coup, returns to earth, an entire horror novel happens, he returns to his world, is a political prisoner and eventually makes a last ditch attempt to at least die at his kings side. Except then a train happened...
Taiki is a kind, compassionate creature and a wary, distrustful teenager. He's gotten better in his time on the train, friends and being with his king has helped. He gets sick if around bloodshed, so if your character smells strongly of blood please hit up his permissions to let me know!
Plans: He's going to offer to paint more people with their friends, as part of trying to help people remember those they know on the train. I'll probably do a log at some point this month about it!
CR wanted: All the people. Taiki is shy and has a defence mechanic of making himself as boring and quiet as possible- so if you are ever finding a thread with him hard please let me know and I will endeavour to create more hooks!
