November Information and CR Meme!
We hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.
IC Month
This month is the month of Imagination. Days can be found here.
The thought of the month is "We are made to persist. That's how we find out who we are."
This means: Any thread that reaches 15 comments (total) will earn you two points.
Threads that fulfill this criteria can be submitted during December AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC!
Recipes are here. The ingredient of the month is Honey. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom and characters are welcome to make other food with them.
This month’s chore assignments are:
Blue: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Purple: Meal Preparation
Red: Laundry
Orange: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
The Train.
Coach M: Spa
This coach is a single coach. There is a corridor running on the left hand side with a door at either end of the carriage to lead into the spa itself. The main feature is a large, square, heated pool in three split tiers in the centre of the carriage. The pool can probably fit five strangers comfortably, or more at an awkward or familiar squeeze. The décor is pastel tiles and rich, pale wood, with long mirrors and sunlamps spaced along the walkways beside the pool.
At the back of the carriage there are two massage tables and a shelving unit with fluffy towels and various scented oils and lotions. On the other side of the pool - the front of the carriage - there are a row of ergonomic loungers, as well as a closed-off booth. This booth has a sliding train door and, inside, passengers will find a simple sauna large enough to fit a couple of people in at a time.
The ICP in this carriage can be programmed to play relaxing music or nature sounds like running water or birdsong. There is also a teaching course on massage techniques that consists of three hour-long lessons split into basic, intermediate, and advanced. There are team-coloured bathing suits and trunks in a small closet next to the entrances to the carriage.
This has been updated on the setting. Remember to let me know if your character does anything to alter the setting!

This month’s event will be a world event on the 13th of November. (An info and plotting post will go up on the 8th)
The TDM will be posted on the 15th. Reserves will open on the 19th. Apps are between the 21st and the 29th. AC will run from the 22nd to the 30th of November.
Other Info
We just wanted to say a few words about the Bonus AC challenges available every other month. For those who might not know, these challenges are optional extras that can earn you extra Team Points for your character. The challenges are intended to encourage and reward the ‘niceties’ of roleplay: tagging out, gathering new CR, finishing threads etc.
However this month we were disappointed to see a small minority of players who we felt did not keep to the spirit of the challenge. A new CR bonus challenge is designed to make sure our new players are welcomed, as well as to encourage mixing and new relationships between existing characters. Therefore it was disheartening to see characters with multiple threads submitted that they had dropped after a couple of tags.
We very much understand that everyone is busy, the world is stressful and everyone has a lot on their plate. One or two threads that have to be dropped for any reason being submitted for such a challenge is fine. However if the majority of threads submitted are being dropped after a tag or two it feels disingenuous.
Going forward we will be taking it up with any players who we feel are struggling with or abusing the system. We would like to thank the vast majority of you who kept to the spirit of the challenge, and we really enjoyed reading up on all the new CR you got out of it!

Natsuno Yuuki/Koide
About them: Natsuno is from Shiki. He's a vampire, not by choice, and he's absolutely loathsome about it. He's sulky, and emo and 16 so it's about time really. He's quiet. He's unfailingly polite. He has excellent manners, he just tries not to get close to people.
Plans: Natsuno's best friend is leaving the train this month. He feels conflicted about that.
CR wanted: I'm open to any and all CR. He does not typically use his powers, outside of things he can't help, ie. seeing in the dark, hearing people's heartbeats. I'd like him to make more friends. He has successfully made (1) friend.
Things to avoid: For me, there are none. He isn't open about being a vampire, but I'm open to people knowing!

Senku Ishigami
About them: He is the protagonist of Dr. Stone. He took a slight 3700 year detour being petrified as a stone statue, while being conscious the entire time and he cannot stop talking about it. His interests are SCIENCE and that's about it. He's socially awkward, he doesn't like talking about his feelings or anyone else's for that matter, and he is a survivalist master.
Plans: Senku has a personal baking project to do with Roland and Inigo, he's got a conversation to have with Gen and Roland about the more in-depth aspects of his worlds, and he'll be spending much of this month in the kitchen it looks like! He's not on the cooking team but if the train won't let him science, he might as well cook.
CR wanted: Senku has got a good groove going, let's keep it up, he's more than happy to chat with people he's so bored on the train. He loves it when people owe him favours.
Things to avoid: He would like people not to emote at him. I, however, love it. Go for it.

Yoite
About them: Yoite is a ninja from Nabari no Ou. His entire life has been miserable, since the day he was born. He doesn't really know who or what he is, he's been living for the sake of his friend. He has a power that allows him to use his qi for destruction or healing. This power has destroyed his body rather thoroughly. Most notably, most of the time, Yoite is very nearly completely deaf. He needs people to be facing him because he's reading lips to fill in the gaps. Occasionally he's also completely blind. He's rather sickly.
Plans: Yoite is brand new, I've got nothing, give it all to me.
CR wanted: Yoite needs friends. He wants people to see him and acknowledge his existence.
Things to avoid: Yoite will not be comfortable speaking about himself with people he doesn't know. They can try, but might find it to be like talking to a brick wall.

Ahahaha Senku is very emotionally strong in his own way. He compartmentalizes like a very healthy individual and just ignores emotions until they go away, as you do.
