About you: she/her, in the US MST time zone. I have a shitload of hobbies but they include music (singing mostly with a little Irish drumming), Irish dance, Bellydance, hopefully soon hula. Little bit about them: Selenay is a Good, but also a politician. She will do anything to help people, but she also does have to worry about the bigger things as she is the Queen. Basically, her rank as a Herald means she's basically incorruptible and will only every have the good of her people (and any people, really) at heart. She's not above doing "bad" things to accomplish good ones.
Hopes and dreams: Anything. All the things. Come into the void

My first Valdemar book was The Black Gryphon (which, oops, is technically before Valdemar even existed but whatever) and I fell into the rest of the series quickly afterwards. Funny story: my dad used to borrow my books whenever I was gone and he fell in love with the Vows and Honor trilogy and he wouldn't stop bothering me to borrow the rest after reading Oathbound (he had to promise not to bend the books back so far and ruin the spine before I let him finish reading the series, haha).

Hullo and welcome! I know the series (but please do not kiss me, not a fan of being touched, lol), but good gods has it been AGES since I've read it. I think I have it on the nook so a reread might be in order. (And if I don't, post move convincing mum to buy them so she can reread them should be easy enough.)

I have been a fan of Valdemar since they first came out (yes, I am that old), LOL. I could go on and on about it, but why throw it all at you at once, when there will be much CR to play with!

Glorfindel is from Tolkien. He understands the fine balance she has to walk. :)

I also have Wei Wuxian from The Untamed. He's all about Justice but is much more Chaotic Good, but his husband is Lawful Good, so he's working on it. Sort of. ;)

Also this is Taiki from 12 Kingdoms. He is a holy creature (a kirin- unicorn) whose job it is to find the king (or queen) of his kingdom by following their god-given bond and then to advise them and keep them on the correct path to serve their people with justice and compassion. It would be super cool to throw him against someone from a world with a very similar but different concept going on!

I also play Romeo and Little One if Selenay ever needed small child shenanigans in her life.

My first was Arrow's Flight waaaaaay back when I was like 10 or 11 ish, but I do think the Last Herald Mage stuff is my favorite overall. I've just been dying to get Selenay to work in a game somewhere. I've tried a few over the years lol
