TL;CR meme!

STEP ONE: Post with your character!
STEP TWO: Respond to other people's characters with your characters. They will then tell you, in detail, what their character thinks of yours -- and as per the meme's title, tl;dr is encouraged, but not necessary! Don't be afraid to ask others for their characters' first impressions of yours as well.
STEP THREE: Write out tl;dr for whoever comments to you in return.
STEP FOUR: Chat with each other in mutual joy/horror/disgust/delight/confusion at where your CR has gone!
BONUS: Use this for writing up CR charts, or if you already have them written, link to them!

WELL. It mostly boils down to: weak as fuck little kid.

BUT SINCE THIS IS A TEAL DEAR MEME.

Reno has Mixed Feelings when it comes to people like Taiki. His self styled Ace of the Turks persona would have anyone and everyone, and especially Taiki himself, believe that he thinks the kid is weak and useless. He has no respect for anyone who cannot take care of themselves and even less for someone who can't stand up in a fight. To him these things are important and anyone who doesn't have a backbone is just asking for trouble, likely to get themselves killed or worse, and that just doesn't fly in his world. You have to be tough. It doesn't necessarily matter how you display that toughness or go about maintaining it but its important for Reasons.

On the complete and total opposite hand, what Reno doesn't like anyone to know is that he actually does have a softer, caring side. And he most definitely has a weak spot for kids and teens especially. Whenever he's not openly being an ass he has a tendency to quietly watch from afar and make sure whoever he's watching over can make it through to the end of the day. If that means he has to show a little tough love in order to teach a lesson or two about how to survive then so be it. He can rough up a kid with no remorse but he'll also just as likely come back and take care of that same kid. SO basically. Taiki now has a big brother of the worst kind to deal with. Reno will probably keep an eye on him from now on especially if they end up on the same team as one another in the future. And while he'll make sure Taiki is safe, he'll do so in the most annoying and obnoxious way imaginable. And probably call Taiki weak and pathetic repeatedly in an attempt to get him to grow a backbone. (Someone should...probably tell him that doesn't work on most people that aren't like him. Although...not that he would actually...listen.)

Yeah. Have fun with that in the future, Taiki.

By all means, let's get Reno's thoughts on Glorfindel!

Reno has Mixed Feelings About All His CR, The Story: Part 2.

So Glorfindel in general is pretty cool. When they met on that first mission Reno thought the elf was competent enough (which is a big deal in his book, especially for fighter types) and he also ended up having fun palling around with Glor during the battles. Big surprise for him, but a welcome one. So generally speaking when Reno sees Glor he's gonna have a good reaction like a smile or a wave or some sort of amiable acknowledgement.

However, the training session together brought a small damper on their relationship. It's not Glor's fault and it's totally just Reno over-reacting and being a pout-y, self-centered brat that doesn't know how to deal with his own emotions. Now sometimes whenever Reno looks at Glor and thinks about it he gets a feeling of guilt that turns into anger and then, if directed at Glor for whatever reason, the elf gets a cold shoulder. This is due to the fact that Reno misses home and, more to the point, his partner and other Turks and frankly doesn't know how misplaced his guilt is whenever he's palling around with Glor. Glor is not a replacement for any of the Turks but Reno doesn't know how to deal with that just yet. (He probably goes and bugs Elena for a while after having thoughts like these since she's all he has from home and he needs that close-knit link to the Turks to justify his, well, everything.) This is not a common reaction and only happens sparingly, and more often than not he doesn't show this side to Glor at all.

In essence: Glor is a pal, but Turks don't get close to outsiders. (So he tells himself. If he lies to himself long enough it becomes truth, right? Right.)

I appreciate you letting me know this :) I look forward to them butting heads a bit more and hopefully, maybe, him coming to accept Glorfindel ;)
