About you: Hi nerds, I'm Coop. I live CST timezone. I'm he/him, though I'm never bothered by the neutral they. For the most part I play video games - right now the time sink is FFXIV, but I'm going to be moving away from that in the next year or so and back into single player gaming rather than mmos. I like to write, I'm trying to get back into reading, and I've recently picked up crochet and embroidery!

Character: Uta
Canon: Tokyo Ghoul + Synodiporia
Cabin and team: 4A, Purple
Little bit about them: Uta is a charming man with a pleasant way of speaking, but beneath it all he's a sadist that dreads being bored and wishes not to be lonely. He is a ghoul, which means he must eat human to live, and human food is poison to him. There's a lot more information about being a ghoul here. He just wants to have a little fun. I also have an entire post about his appearance because this man has too many tattoos, found here.

From Synodiporia, he grew a little more comfortable with the idea of other worlds and has come to terms with the fact that there are many worlds out there with people varying widely. He also came to know about the FFXIV universe because he spent a lot of time with a band of WoL while there, so despite what he says, he knows more about Eorzea and Norvrandt than he's letting on. He picked up a skill called the dance of unveiling that I'd like people to lemme know if they're cool with using, my permissions for Uta is here. He also learned how to play guitar while in Syn - for those that know who Miyavi is (and characters who may know who Myv is), Uta's design was based off of Myv so feel free to make the comparison ic!

In Syn I had Uta create little trinkets for people he grew close to. A miqo'te that he was close to he would always make little mice trinkets - small statuettes, origami, whatever - and would leave them for her to find in places, a tease of her being a cat. For an auri lass he knew he would make dragons, often breathing fire, to tease her about her lizard-y appearance and her hotheadedness. Things like that. If he takes a shine to your character, they might start finding gifts lying around!
Hopes and dreams: I look forward to everything with him! He's not going to talk about his ghoul status out of the gate because it tends to make people uncomfortable. I mean, he comes off as quite charismatic and pleasant. I don't think he'll have issue with making friends (to start), it's when the boredom of the day to day sets in that I imagine he'll have issues.

Nita is a neighbor, and she might be a little disturbed by him - though she knows enough about the range of dietary habits people have that learning about the 'has to eat humans to live' bit won't put her off him or anything.

Though it helps that he'll have his own stock. :V

Webmind, meanwhile, will be Baffled; first elves and vampires, then talking animals, now ghouls???? What even is his life?

I mean, he's definitely not dangerous, right? :) He wouldn't hurt anyone, right? :) They're definitely friends, right? :)

Joking aside, he does like hoomans, and I think they will probably get along. He'll find the magic interesting. He'll be trying to keep his diet a lazily kept secret, but we'll see how long it lasts. The train is pretty cramped lol

And I don't? Think Webmind needs to sleep, still? The robot body may need charging, but Inky and I never solidified that part of its design.

He's still awake and aware regardless, though.

I look forward to throwing my lot at another Coop character! Taiki here... might not be able to be around him for long but I have Romeo (could go either way depending on how he acts) and Little One (she will be fascinated by him I am sure)

I really don't blame Taiki... Uta even admits that he's beyond saving. I think he and Romeo will get along pretty well, even if it's really superficial - Uta does his best to be relatively agreeable, and... I finally feel like I have a LO compatible character, hah. I really look forward to seeing how they interact with each other - we'll see what happens, but he might be a devil's advocate for her~

Sobs he wouldn't even think him beyond saving. But I think he will feel terrible around him as I imagine Uta definitely smells of blood to a holy creature sensitive to blood and violence.

Yes good, she needs someone to balance out all these terribly good influences on her!
