a mini murder mystery??

It is a dark and stormy night, and a killing most foul has taken place. Here are the Facts, separated as things your characters may notice at any point (from none to all!).


First, link to the murder thread, CW: swearing, gore, blood, violence, death. If you don't want to read due to the content warnings but want to know info I can give a summary.

• Qing, a new face on the roster, has a heart next to her name from the morning of day 17. This has only been seen before next to Joss's. Kitty notices this.
• There is human blood, less than a day old and from the same person, in the following places:
  • One of the areas of seating in the Dressing carriage is stained with flecks of blood from three sources. A small pool of dripped blood on the seat itself, a narrow spray from a sharp slash, and a wide spray away from the other spatters. (easy to find - found by Webmind and analysed by Conan)
  • A human-sized piece of luggage near the door to Luggage has dried smears on the inside. (medium to find)
  • A Blue team uniform bundled into a small ball and tucked into the middle of the laundry pile at the end of Sleeper 1 is soaked in it, also dried as much as the luggage smear. It can be smelled, but it's under enough other clothing that a superficial look won't see it (medium to find)
  • A bloodied Red shirt is bundled into a rucksack in 6-C. (difficult to find) Has been incinerated on the morning of Day 17
• The hoodie and shirt in the laundry also have a tear in the front over the chest in the same location, made by being pierced by a double-edged sharp object. The name labels are torn out. (still not found)
• There is no body, or any parts of a body, to be found on the train. (easy to determine)
• The killing took place at R-2 hours, where R is the morning reset/alarm. (Determined by SXT-2)
• The weapon used in the murder is a longsword, of the kind produced by Piccolo for Fight Club use, and is currently clean of blood in 1-A. (difficult, will require psychometry or similar to narrow down)
• For residents of 1-E, when they wake up at the morning announcement, one bed is empty, and Qing slips in a few minutes later wrapped in a bathtowel. She was already asleep when they went to bed the previous evening. (1-E inhabitants only) (Edge knows that she didn't wake up in her bed that morning)
• No one has yet confronted Qing about the events.
  • She is evasive if it's mentioned in a roundabout manner
  • She is not letting herself be caught alone, mostly by sticking with various people she already knows.

TIMELINE: 
R-2 hours Day 16 - Murder in the Dressing carriage takes place
R Day 17 - Qing wakes up in a bag in Luggage. She takes off her blood-stained hoodie, shirt and trousers, rips out all of the labels, and stuffs them into the laundry hamper. Wearing a towel, she sneaks back into 1-E, where Edge confronts her briefly.
R+1 Day 17 - Xue Yang burns a red hoodie in one of the industrial ovens.
R+2 Day 17 - Kitty Pryde is looking through the roster, and asks about the meaning of the heart symbol over the ICPs.
R+2-3 Day 17 - Webmind and Conan investigate the Dressing carriage and determine from the blood spray that 1. the killer was skilled with a sword or other medium to long blade, 2. the victim's mouth was damaged somehow separate to the killing blow and 3. the victim got blood onto their killer. They also determine that the body lay there from the time of death until the reset.
R+3 Day 17 - SXT-2 and Kitty contact Tony Stark after SXT-2 determines the moment of death.

Before Breakfast - Qing tells Lan Wangji that she thinks she was killed by Xue Yang, and asks him not to tell anyone. Wangji explains that he was the one who originally killed Xue Yang in their homeworld.
After Breakfast - Nita confronts Qing, saying that she knows she was killed due to the heart symbol. Qing leaves without confirming.

Curufin is also on laundry duty this month, so he might be there with Najaran when she finds the bloody clothes. Providing nobody else has nabbed this part of the evidence-finding yet.

Update: Qing's player says it's fine, and if there are other people who want to join the laundry thread, that's fine too. Synopsis so far: Curufin is there now, and he and Najaran and her buddy Goligan are discussing the blood-stained, discarded Blue Team clothing Najaran just found. They've noticed the rips caused by the blade, and they've noticed that the labels are missing.
