June Information and CR Meme
I hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.
IC Month
This month is the month of Fiddlesticks. Days can be found here.
The thought of the month is “A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions.”
This means: Every thread in May or June where your character learns, or is learning something new will be worth 2 team points. This might be learning something new about a friend, learning a new skill or learning something about the train or a world.
Threads that fulfill this criterial can be submitted during June AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC!
Recipes are here. The key ingredient this month is bacon. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom and characters are welcome to make other food with them.
This months chore assignments are:
Purple: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Red: Meal Preparation
Orange: Laundry
Blue: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
The Train.
As the month moves through the month of Fiddlesticks the train will stop to pick up new passengers. When everyone rejoins the train they will find a new gym!
This carriage is very similar to carriage C. A long narrow space walled off from the corridor. The cupboard however is not filled with balls. Instead it has mats, soft hand held pads for training with, training dummies and even some balancing beams. It also has large blocks that look a little like what you might find in a children's play centre but can be used to make obstacle courses or provide cover in training exercises. There are two climbing apparatus next to the wall that can be swung out to create a climbing frame.
All of this has been updated on the setting. Remember to let me know if your character does anything to alter the setting!
Important Dates
This month event will be an on train event From the 12th to the 13th June. A plotting post will go up on 10th June.
Reserves will open 18th June with a TDM going up on the 15th June. Apps are between 22nd June and 29th June. AC will run 22nd June to 29th June.
Other Info
~ We now have a character initiative page. This is for any character or player driven things, such as new organisations, new IC publications and other services that are player/character driven.
~ We now have two types of network.
The ICPs are on the train, there is one in every carriage and one in each cabin. Characters can communicate with voice or video to either the whole train or to one carriage. There is no back catalogue of posts and no text option (there is one in the works and only those characters who can interface with the ICPs have access so far- their text posts can be seen by all but only replied to in video or voice). At its heart it is a slightly fancy tannoy system.voidtreckernet is the place for network posts on the train.
The SCAs on missions now have voice communications enabled. These are active from when the voidtreckers first get their mission briefs to when they return to the void at the end of the mission. They can speak to all, to team or to individual. Please see here for more information. Those with phones or other devices that can connect can assume that they have linked up by next mission. Even with these devices they can only access this feature on missions. Each mission will have a comms post for interactions over the SCAs.
Both of these are big open communication systems and it is fair to say conversations are not very private. Some such as the 'speak to all' on the SCA should be a free for all radio style format. But for conversation between two people on the ICP (even if it can be heard by all) please check oocly with participants before threadjacking.

Tony Stark
About them: Tony is a billionaire, high functioning alcoholic, philanthropist, former playboy, arrogant ass, fatherly figure, control freak, inappropriate, golden-heart, PTSD sufferer, teacher, liquor maker, and a hero. He's also the self-proclaimed leader of the Voidtrecker. He's also one of the two leaders for the Red Team. He's doing his best and that has led to a mix of positive and negative opinions about him. He's in a committed relationship with Ignis Scientia (FFXV) and has adopted both Joss and Madoka. He misses his daughter and wife, but sees what they're doing is redemption for the wrong he's done/ mistakes he's made. So yes, he's 'drank the Kool-Aid'.
Plans: So many things, yikes.
- Tony is involved with something that he's not sharing with anyone but Peter. Those close might notice, but he won't say what it is. He's been more careful with the locks on his doors and keeping his files/ computer secure.
- He's continuing to build and strengthen his new family and friends.
- He's teaching a basic and an advanced class for math and a science twice a week.
- He trains in the gym a lot with and without the Fight Club. He does hand to hand as well as sword fighting. Both he'll spar with other people if they want.
- He bakes often for the kids.
- Idk, I'm sure I have other stuff I've forgotten about.
CR wanted: Any! Tony's CR usually starts off as negative but with some patience and probably a second meeting, he can usually turn people around.
Things to avoid: Can't think of anything. He's been told about RDJ and it's canon that he's a TV show, action figure, etc etc, so don't be disappointed when this info doesn't surprise him. Maybe also you're welcome to flirt with him but there will be a point he'll shut you down.

I suspect I know what project he's working on with Peter as well, so that might be a good thing for them to be more aware of each other. (Unless I'm completely wrong, at which point I'm interested in the CR anyway. XD)

I've been meaning to poke you since Tony is friends with Conan. Maybe we can plan for their paths to cross in the kitchen? Or really, he'll be very impressed with her martial arts abilities.

Prompto Argentum
About them: Prompto is optimistic, playful, cute, and friendly. He's a skilled photographer and an expert marksman. He loves his friends from his home world- Iggy, Gladio, and Noct- as well as his new ones here. His favorite thing ever are chocobos. If there is an opportunity, he will start talking about them. He also has undies, pj bottoms, and a pj t-shirt with chocobos on them.
He's also really into designing his own clothing. He considers himself a member of the Black team, but he's assigned to Purple. All of his clothes here have been redone with dye, punky cut designs, or repurposing other clothes people don't want. He'll help style anyone else's clothes if they ask nice or look sad complaining about the clothes in his presence.
He's in a threeway relationship with Noct and Gladio. (I.e. He's super cute but his boyfriend Gladio is big and territorial.)
Last thing, he's *always* wearing gloves that at least go partially down his arm or a wrist bands.
Plans: Not a whole lot. I'm open for more plans. He's going to jump into this Bardic Circle and he likes any party that's on the train. I'm also thinking he's going to have a log this month where he accidentally starts a kitchen fire because dear god, he should be kept out of there.
CR wanted: Any! He is easy to befriend and likes being helpful. He's also a 20 year old boy, so video games, food, music, whatever, he's game.
Things to avoid: If you say his hair looks like a chocobo butt, he will pout. Otherwise, nothing really.
