Heya! I'm canonblind but I play this Wen Qing here who is a doctor from ancient fantasy China who has a knack for experimental magic medicine. She is a grumpy big sister type and actually likes hanging out with difficult people, plus her people are big on fire spells. I feel like they might get along fairly well?

How does the magic doctor feel about a magic rock that starts growing in people's bodies and gives them magic powers? That's basically Ifrit in a nutshell.

It sounds like they have a lot of common ground though!

Very "WTF is wrong with these people?!" and just all around not okay with people doing that, I'd wager. No growing rocks in people, she's not cool with that.

The magic rock cancer is, unfortunately, infectious. And used as a power source where Ifrit's from. So everybody else Infected in her world just got it from overexposure. Ifrit's the sole lucky person where somebody went "man I wonder what'd happen if we did this on purpose"

And here Qing thought people in her canon were doing some seriously not okay "let's see what happens if we do this" stuff! This will horrify her. It is not how you do responsible medicine or science!
