Test Drive Meme 011
1. Post with your character. I’ve written out some prompts but feel free to make up your own, you have a whole train to play with!
2. Assume they have been around long enough for threads to jump right into the action!
3. Have much fun!
Happy testing!
Crisis On… A Ship!
The train has a game carriage and the VR video games are always popular. A good way to relive boredom as well as teaching some good skills.
Crisis on...This game can be played with two to four players. It is essentially a crisis simulator mixed with an escape room. You can chose the scenario (the bridge of a space ship, a camp in a jungle, a high rise building, a sailing ship etc) and you are thrown into the middle of a crisis of some kind. Teamwork and a cool head are important as is using the surroundings wisely.
Ahoy there! You and your small crew are on board a sailing ship in the middle of an ocean. But you are being chased by an enemy ship and there’s a storm brewing! There are many roles for you to chose from and different puzzles and problems to be solved. Batten down the hatches, flee the enemy ships and if necessary man the canons! Bring yourselves and your crew to harbour safely.
Dressing up
The upcoming mission is one in space and the void treckers have been told to blend in. The dressing room has been opened and what awaits them looks like it walked out of a old science fiction film. Shoulder pads, metalic colours. Everything over the top, ridiculous and not practical at all.
Yet the mission brief said to fit in. So swallow your pride and try and find outfits that aren’t too ridiculous. Or go all out and make the most of it, it’s not every day you can wear elaborate outfits after all.
Space Battle
As perhaps the outfits had suggested this world is an odd one, the outfits given to the voidtreckers make them some of the most subtle dressed people in the space city. Big, bold and loud. But the crisis is clear, an enemy force attacking this city filled with non combatants and children.
Team One
Space fighting time! The space ships are designed for two so voidtreckers will need a partner. There’s not much time to train so it will be mostly learning on the job, but it’s fine. The voidtreckers job is mostly to make up numbers, to split the enemy’s focus whilst those that know how to pilot go in to defeat the enemy.
Team Two
The problem with space battles is, there are a lot of injuries and a lot of damaged space ships. The space city is not one that has a large military so damaged ships need to be fixed as quickly as possible.
Help out the engineers. It might be the voidtreckers know a little about repairing ships themselves but even if they don’t, extra pairs of hands are always useful.
Team Three
This city is loud, bustling and full of life. But with the battle raging outside everyone needs to stay safe. Help people get to shelters. Clear the streets and begin the evacuation, though hopefully a full evacuation won’t be needed.
Space Disco
Enemies vanquished, this city does what it apparantly does best. That is, party. The music is way too loud, different songs out of each building, people dance in the streets, lights flash far too fast. There is strange street food to try, new dances to learn and a victory to celebrate.
tifa lockhart || final fantasy vii
Tifa's stuffed in a silvery dress that flares out blue at the bottom...and boy, that is one huge hoop skirt. Complete with flashing neon lights.
"I feel like I should be wearing antennae with this."
post-rescue party
After the stress of battle, she slips into what she does best: serving drinks. She'll mix something hard with a bit of flair behind the bar, smiling at her newest customers. Navigating behind the bar with the sci fi dress is a little tough, but she's managing with a smile.
"What'll it be? You look like you could use a break."
gym
Looking to play dodgeball? Hopefully you are, because the second you enter the gym car a ball is kicked at high speed, whizzing right past.
"Oh! Sorry. Didn't see you."
gym
"And the crowd goes wild!" Tangle giggled. Then she practically skipped over to Tifa, holding out the ball. "I believe this is yours?"
no subject
Tifa looks a little flustered as she reaches for the ball. "I haven't played since I was a kid. I thought I'd give it a try...but I guess I got carried away. You sure you're okay?"
no subject
She grinned, and started spinning the ball on her finger. "I don't suppose you fancy a game?"
no subject
Tifa crouches into position. "Nice to meet you, by the way! I'm Tifa!"

post-rescue party
Reno sidled up to the bar with an amused smile on his face as he watched Tifa. Figures she would have made herself at home behind a bar. It suited her, at least. And hopefully she could fix something a little like home rather than some strange alien drink. He could use the nostalgia trip after all the weird space battling.

It's strange. They've sort of agreed to a truce after everything, and it's been a long road to start to let go of her anger. But that won't do her any good while on a train to...something or other. She imagines what Barret would say to that and smiles.
"Let's see...how about a Blitz Bolt?"
It's a greenish-yellow concoction, definite hint of lime and a strong kick. She mixes expertly, then slides it down the bar.
"How'd it go today?"
no subject
He looked up at Tifa and there was a gleam in his eye. "I got to pilot one of those spaceships. That was interesting." He said with a jovial laugh that probably hinted at why he shouldn't be allowed to play with nice things. Not that he crashed it, mind you, he was a good pilot...usually...but he went a little wild with the dogfighting.
no subject
That sure felt familiar. She took a seat at the end. "I stayed on the ground, evacuating. We got almost everyone out, but I could see the sparks from way down there."

Flora was glad she had pretty decent reflexes at least. But soon she went to pick up the ball and thew it back to the other, which didn't have a lot of force to it.
"I guess you are training."
no subject
Tifa shifted the ball between her fingers, then lobbed it at the wall. It bounced back and she caught it.
no subject
But on the upside if she proves her worth she can at least gain a new form. Flora soon watched the ball bounce back and forth.
"I have a question. Does this help with any kind of training?"

fashion fashion fashion
"We're not planning on abducting anybody, are we?"
no subject
Tifa tries to pose in it like she normally would. Yeah, not happening. She snorts and shakes her head.
"I don't...think so? You want to try one on?"
no subject
"You tailless types got it easy." However, that doesn't mean she won't run with it. "Seems to be a lot of you around here, too."

She looked around, tense and prepared to MOVE, when the words caught up with her. Didn't see her? Well that was to be expected, wasn't it? She was used to not being seen, still preferred it, actually....
Xion looked like a youngish teen with a hood up to hide most of her face, wearing the basic hoodie and pants of her team without adornment. Except, you know, for the giant magical key in her hands.
no subject
Well enough, anyway. She smiled awkwardly.
"You good?"

Party
"Something hard," he managed to get out, somehow maintaining his usual disaffected air for a moment. He even managed to keep the comment he wanted to make back until she was safely turned away from him.
"Nice dress."
no subject
Wait. Was that...he looked different, but those eyes...
"Cloud! Well, for you, I have a new special: the honeybee."
A glimmer of mischief in her eye as she poured. It was sweet at first...but as promised, there was quite the sour sting at the end.
"But I'm not one to talk. I look like something from a creepy old movie."
no subject
"You're not the only one," he replied. "This place does make Midgar look pretty normal, I guess."
(no subject)
Sorry for the delay; I got caught up beating the game
Gym
"Tifa! What on Gaia-" Her voice cut and she did a double take. "TIFA!"
"When the hell did you get here!?"
no subject
"Yuffie! Not that long, maybe a day or two. Just thought I'd vent some steam. You've...been here longer?"
She tried to spin the ball on her finger. Key word: tried. Down it went.
Post-Rescue Party
"Hey, Spacetender - could you make me the spaciest cocktail you know? I feel like drinkin' something that glows."
