Crisis On… A Ship!

The train has a game carriage and the VR video games are always popular. A good way to relive boredom as well as teaching some good skills.

Crisis on...This game can be played with two to four players. It is essentially a crisis simulator mixed with an escape room. You can chose the scenario (the bridge of a space ship, a camp in a jungle, a high rise building, a sailing ship etc) and you are thrown into the middle of a crisis of some kind. Teamwork and a cool head are important as is using the surroundings wisely.

Ahoy there! You and your small crew are on board a sailing ship in the middle of an ocean. But you are being chased by an enemy ship and there’s a storm brewing! There are many roles for you to chose from and different puzzles and problems to be solved. Batten down the hatches, flee the enemy ships and if necessary man the canons! Bring yourselves and your crew to harbour safely.

Dressing up

The upcoming mission is one in space and the void treckers have been told to blend in. The dressing room has been opened and what awaits them looks like it walked out of a old science fiction film. Shoulder pads, metalic colours. Everything over the top, ridiculous and not practical at all.

Yet the mission brief said to fit in. So swallow your pride and try and find outfits that aren’t too ridiculous. Or go all out and make the most of it, it’s not every day you can wear elaborate outfits after all.

Space Battle

As perhaps the outfits had suggested this world is an odd one, the outfits given to the voidtreckers make them some of the most subtle dressed people in the space city. Big, bold and loud. But the crisis is clear, an enemy force attacking this city filled with non combatants and children.

Team One

Space fighting time! The space ships are designed for two so voidtreckers will need a partner. There’s not much time to train so it will be mostly learning on the job, but it’s fine. The voidtreckers job is mostly to make up numbers, to split the enemy’s focus whilst those that know how to pilot go in to defeat the enemy.

Team Two

The problem with space battles is, there are a lot of injuries and a lot of damaged space ships. The space city is not one that has a large military so damaged ships need to be fixed as quickly as possible.

Help out the engineers. It might be the voidtreckers know a little about repairing ships themselves but even if they don’t, extra pairs of hands are always useful.

Team Three

This city is loud, bustling and full of life. But with the battle raging outside everyone needs to stay safe. Help people get to shelters. Clear the streets and begin the evacuation, though hopefully a full evacuation won’t be needed.

Space Disco

Enemies vanquished, this city does what it apparantly does best. That is, party. The music is way too loud, different songs out of each building, people dance in the streets, lights flash far too fast. There is strange street food to try, new dances to learn and a victory to celebrate.

Black was a colour that was sorely needed. He was pretty sure he'd found every colour under the rainbow and some that hadn't been discovered yet, in every fabric known in the universe! But black? Duo was about to give up when the voice of an angel called to him. He turned, and there, held in the angels hands, was what he was looking for.

Maybe it wasn't exactly what he was after, but damned if it didn't look cool!

Duo grinned and hurried forward to take the jacket. "Quat, this is perfect!" He immediately shrugged out of his purple hoodie and slipped the jacket on, then did a quick twirl that ended with him facing his friend again with his arms stretched out. "Whatcha think? Look good?"

Quatre smiled brightly at the enthusiasm as Duo came over to take the jacket from him. "Oh good! I thought this one would be to your liking." It seemed to be literally the only thing black in there, but it was there.

"It looks good. I think it suits you." Of course, who could go wrong with a slightly shiny black jacket? If Quatre didn't prefer brighter colors in his wardrobe unless he had a meeting or it was uniform, he might have tried it on as well.

"Let's see what else we can find."

Duo found a mirror to admire himself in. It looked damn good! Quatre had good taste... for others. His own outfit looked like a kaleidoscope of colours but it, oddly, suited the blonde.

"I'll bet you all the good stuff's already been taken by others not wanting to look like clowns." And by good stuff he meant all the awesome black clothes and darker colours. He turned from the mirror to help his friend look. "Just pants. If we can find some dark pants we're in business!" Though he supposed his cargos would still work... Even if they looked weird with the black jacket.

He had a good sense of style for himself usually. But these clothes really didn't lend themselves to it so he figured he'd go with the flow and just attempt something. He had at least put thought into it rather than grabbing the first pieces he had found.

"It's likely. I was hardly the first one in here." He smiled as Duo admired the jacket in the mirror. "We can certainly try."

And Quatre would, of course, begin to look again. He's just that dedicated to his friends that he had to do that. He was kind of mumbling to himself as he searched before he finally pulled something out.

"So they are not quite the same shade, but they are dark."

A very dark gray, not black, but who knew. Maybe that was a combo that natives thought would look good together.

Quatre did have a good sense of style, just not Duo's sense of style! At least, he thought so. But the jacket was making him question himself. Quatre clearly knew what he liked!

He was about to start looking for pants himself when, once again, Quatre pulled out a pair that would be just fine.

"You're good at this." Duo laughed and reached for the pants. While they weren't black, they would have to do. Just a simple look around could tell him that there were all the colours of the rainbow but very little in the way of the colour he really wanted.

He held the pants up to himself and then turned back to the mirror. "Should work, right?"

He would be glad to hear that Duo thought he had a good sense of style. He knew Duo didn't have style and he didn't have Duo's either. But he didn't think there was anything wrong with Duo's fashion sense either.

"I seem to be. I keep finding the hard to find items in all of the bright colors." He smiled.

"I think that should be fine together. It's not like you are trying to do navy and black."
