Test Drive Meme 011
1. Post with your character. I’ve written out some prompts but feel free to make up your own, you have a whole train to play with!
2. Assume they have been around long enough for threads to jump right into the action!
3. Have much fun!
Happy testing!
Crisis On… A Ship!
The train has a game carriage and the VR video games are always popular. A good way to relive boredom as well as teaching some good skills.
Crisis on...This game can be played with two to four players. It is essentially a crisis simulator mixed with an escape room. You can chose the scenario (the bridge of a space ship, a camp in a jungle, a high rise building, a sailing ship etc) and you are thrown into the middle of a crisis of some kind. Teamwork and a cool head are important as is using the surroundings wisely.
Ahoy there! You and your small crew are on board a sailing ship in the middle of an ocean. But you are being chased by an enemy ship and there’s a storm brewing! There are many roles for you to chose from and different puzzles and problems to be solved. Batten down the hatches, flee the enemy ships and if necessary man the canons! Bring yourselves and your crew to harbour safely.
Dressing up
The upcoming mission is one in space and the void treckers have been told to blend in. The dressing room has been opened and what awaits them looks like it walked out of a old science fiction film. Shoulder pads, metalic colours. Everything over the top, ridiculous and not practical at all.
Yet the mission brief said to fit in. So swallow your pride and try and find outfits that aren’t too ridiculous. Or go all out and make the most of it, it’s not every day you can wear elaborate outfits after all.
Space Battle
As perhaps the outfits had suggested this world is an odd one, the outfits given to the voidtreckers make them some of the most subtle dressed people in the space city. Big, bold and loud. But the crisis is clear, an enemy force attacking this city filled with non combatants and children.
Team One
Space fighting time! The space ships are designed for two so voidtreckers will need a partner. There’s not much time to train so it will be mostly learning on the job, but it’s fine. The voidtreckers job is mostly to make up numbers, to split the enemy’s focus whilst those that know how to pilot go in to defeat the enemy.
Team Two
The problem with space battles is, there are a lot of injuries and a lot of damaged space ships. The space city is not one that has a large military so damaged ships need to be fixed as quickly as possible.
Help out the engineers. It might be the voidtreckers know a little about repairing ships themselves but even if they don’t, extra pairs of hands are always useful.
Team Three
This city is loud, bustling and full of life. But with the battle raging outside everyone needs to stay safe. Help people get to shelters. Clear the streets and begin the evacuation, though hopefully a full evacuation won’t be needed.
Space Disco
Enemies vanquished, this city does what it apparantly does best. That is, party. The music is way too loud, different songs out of each building, people dance in the streets, lights flash far too fast. There is strange street food to try, new dances to learn and a victory to celebrate.
Shaw | Arknights
[ Easy task. Pick something and wear it. Shaw's not worried about looking stupid, as long as it's something easy to move in. Maybe this... no. Or... no. Eventually the problem makes itself apparent:
Shaw is 4'5".
She stares into a middle distance for a few moments, before flagging down someone who looks like they know what's going on. When she starts talking, all the words come out at once. ]
Excuseme, isthereanything smallerthanthese? Maybesomethingfor children wouldbeabetter fitforme...
[ It stings having to ask, but she's used to this problem. ]
Space Battle (Team Three)
[ The city is in chaos, but this is where Shaw shines. She's already gotten down to business, working alongside local emergency services to get people safely into shelter.
A stray explosion, unfortunately, started a fire in the residential block. Firefighters are on the way, but before they've even arrived, Shaw emerges from the flames, a boy slung over one shoulder and a girl over the other. Together, they probably weigh more than she does. ]
Takeoneof thesetwo! [ Her speech is as fast as ever, but it's sharper here, intense and commanding cooperation. She's offering you one of the unconscious kids. ] Evacuationroute is overhere! Stilltwomore inside! No timetolose!
Space Disco
[ The city saved, the people protected? All in a day's work. Unfortunately, it was then followed by... this whole racket.
The crowds, the cacaphony of music, and the flashing lights are decidedly too much for Shaw to handle all at once. Before long, she's taken her unidentifiable fair food and shuffled off to an out-of-the-way corner where the music is a bit less deafening and the people aren't so densely-packed.
If you're looking to avoid the crowds, you might find a squirrel girl (no, not that Squirrel Girl) hiding out from the chaos. Any visitors she'll greet with a quiet nod. ]
Basic Info
[[ Shaw is a member of the Lungmen Fire Department, not a child but standing abnormally short at 135cm. Big bushy tail, speech characterized by long silences followed by rapid-fire word vomit. More here. ]]
Dressing Up
[Best part, her things have tail-holes as well! Considering she has one of her own, scaly though it is...though the sheer assortment of clothing oddities does have Sarai wincing due to the fact that she is possessed of fashion sense...]

...Ifyoucan lendmesomething, I'd appreciateit.

Of course though! We're in this together. Now. With what we've been given and told...do you prefer to call attention to yourself, or be more subtle? There's not a ton to work with, but I believe I can come up with either option...

IfIstandout, myjob willbea littleeasier, Ithink.
Dressing up
I usually work with doll clothes, but that skillset's pretty transferable into people clothes. Hand me something you like, and I'll see if I can take it down to your size.

There. It's blazing bright orange with racing stripes down the sides, but it'll do.]

Which she immediately starts with. As she works, she talks.]
I'm Alex Hashimoto. Professional dollmaker and I also help run my parents' toy store. And you?

[Despite her rapid-fire pace, she seems surprisingly level-headed.]

So not only are you a cutie, you save lives.
[That line was delivered pretty casually, as if it just came naturally to Alex.]

Here you go! This should fit better.

Thanksforthehelp, Alex.
Spaaace
[ Says the offered individual, straining her voice to even register above a whisper - she nods as well, hoping that at least gets it across. Even shorter than Shaw, Whisper's still fully capable of grabbing one of the injured. It's certainly more of a visible strain than the little... squirrel-human's physical abilities, but she'll manage. ]

Once they're out of harm's way, and there's people who can look after them, it's time to head back. That building was in real bad condition... ]
Canyouhandle fire?

...well enough.
[ In that she can take the heat, and doesn't mind dealing with a lot of burnt fur. ]
Do what you need me to.
