Welcome to our Test Drive Meme! Here is the place to see how your character might fit the setting, grab some samples and start having fun!

Greenhouse

The newest carriage is a greenhouse.

The ceiling is a dome shape, a single metal beam runs from one end to another, mounted on this beam are large bright lights.

The aisle of grass runs down the middle, from one door to the next. Stone paths branch off around raised beds of soil. Nothing is growing yet but there are crates in which passengers can find a whole host of seeds and bulbs for various flowers.

Plenty for passengers with green fingers to do! Plant some seeds, tend to those they have planted already. Chase away people who have no idea what they are doing! Remind them they have to take the seeds out of the packet first!

If planting is a new thing then the ICP has some handy gardening tips or they can always ask their fellow Voidtreckers!

Sports Balls

For those who prefer their hobbies much more energetic then the gym's cupboard is full of balls. Balls for every sport they can imagine! The space is long and narrow which means a little bit of adapting but there is plenty of fun to be had. Start a game of football, or basket ball.

Make some new friends and get some friendly rivalry going!

Monkey Madness!

It's a strange mission to be sure but the Voidtreckers have been called to help a huge zoo tackle a problem. Every monkey enclosure has been broken open and the creatures have gotten out and into the city, where they are causing mayhem.

Team One

Though the monkeys don't pose much threat to human life they cause quite a big of damage. Team one is to try and get as many businesses and homes safe as possible. Bring things indoors, reinforce doors and windows. Warn those in the city of the incoming horde!

Team Two

Round up the monkeys! The aim is to do this without harming and luckily they have some capture devices, that can be thrown to spring straps around a creature. Bribing them is also encouraged. The city has prepared vans for the creatures to be lured or taken to. Careful though, these monkeys are cunning and mischievous and clever enough to steal the capture devices and throw them back at the Voidtreckers! Who is catching who?

Team Three

Back in the zoo there is plenty to do. First and foremost the enclosures need fixing and reinforced. Also an investigation is underway to figure out what happened and who is responsible. If DIY or investigating work is not in a passengers skill set then there are still many other animals that need fed and cleaned!

Reward time!

Soon all the monkeys are back in their proper homes and the city put back to rights! As a thank you the zoo is handing out free ice cream and a free pass to enjoy the zoo for the day.

At least her face lights up at the suggestion.

"You should..!" Because Madoka is just happy being able to help Mami get out there and do things with other people, but also since - more selfishly, which is why the reason comes second in her heart - she's just glad to be able to spend more time with the older girl, no matter what they're doing together.

And to Madoka's credit, she manages to not make that smile fade too much even when the conversation turns to a topic that.. really is more worrying, yes. But she's learned to deal with it now, or to at least try and put on a stronger face sometimes.

"Sometimes.. things do get really dangerous though, yes. When we have to go out for a mission, it usually involves fighting. It's not scary though, since everyone helps me out..! I just wish I could do more in return for them too."

"I'll do better this time," Mami whispers, looking distantly at the ring around her middle finger. She curls her hand into a fist, head bowed---and only after a moment does she look up. Her gaze passes over Madoka's hands, but she doesn't need to look to know that Kyubey didn't contract her.

"If you have to be part of something like this...it's better that you're with a big group who knows exactly what you're going through. If you want to use a weapon, I can enchant one for you. Let me know what you need, okay?"

Madoka almost doesn't catch the whisper. Almost. She does listen to the rest of what the other girl says, but it's that whisper that keeps repeating in her thoughts. There's just no way Madoka can let Mami keep thinking that - not when she's so nice. Not when her niceness is proven once more by how easily she offers to help Madoka out.

Maybe she should get started on actually eating her breakfast, but that just doesn't feel nearly as important. Instead Madoka reaches out to gently take Mami's hands in her own.

"Mami-san.. You don't have to do better. You've never done anything bad to begin with." Because nothing about Mami's death feels like Mami's fault. Not to Madoka. It's the witch's fault, or her own fault-- but never Mami's. "You're amazing. And I'm.. I'm just really glad you're here. I missed you."

"Eh...?"

Mami startles, her cheeks turning slightly pink. Madoka can't be serious...

"I'm...so happy you still believe in me," she says, finally choking the words out. She's struggling not to cry, and probably not succeeding. "I promise I'll do my best for you. Now...hurry and eat, before it gets cold!"

She laughs, watery and unsure.

Maybe she shouldn't push it. She doesn't want Mami to feel embarrassed about crying, after all.. But thankfully the dining car doesn't seem to be too busy this morning, so at least the main person who would witness it is Madoka. And it's not like this would be the first time she'd see that.

(Although this time it's certainly under much more pleasant circumstances.)

So she smiles at the other girl, letting go of one hand but still holding on with the other. Just so she can actually shove a spoonful of food into her mouth.

"Ahh, it really is yummy!" She at least makes sure to swallow the food before she says that, she's not a savage! Madoka puts a bit more food on her eating utensils, lifting it up to Mami's mouth. "You take a bite too, okay? You must not have much yet with how busy you've been with cooking."
