Test Drive Meme 010
1. Post with your character. I’ve written out some prompts but feel free to make up your own, you have a whole train to play with!
2. Assume they have been around long enough for threads to jump right into the action!
3. Have much fun!
Happy testing!
Greenhouse
The newest carriage is a greenhouse.
The ceiling is a dome shape, a single metal beam runs from one end to another, mounted on this beam are large bright lights.
The aisle of grass runs down the middle, from one door to the next. Stone paths branch off around raised beds of soil. Nothing is growing yet but there are crates in which passengers can find a whole host of seeds and bulbs for various flowers.
Plenty for passengers with green fingers to do! Plant some seeds, tend to those they have planted already. Chase away people who have no idea what they are doing! Remind them they have to take the seeds out of the packet first!
If planting is a new thing then the ICP has some handy gardening tips or they can always ask their fellow Voidtreckers!
Sports Balls
For those who prefer their hobbies much more energetic then the gym's cupboard is full of balls. Balls for every sport they can imagine! The space is long and narrow which means a little bit of adapting but there is plenty of fun to be had. Start a game of football, or basket ball.
Make some new friends and get some friendly rivalry going!
Monkey Madness!
It's a strange mission to be sure but the Voidtreckers have been called to help a huge zoo tackle a problem. Every monkey enclosure has been broken open and the creatures have gotten out and into the city, where they are causing mayhem.
Team One
Though the monkeys don't pose much threat to human life they cause quite a big of damage. Team one is to try and get as many businesses and homes safe as possible. Bring things indoors, reinforce doors and windows. Warn those in the city of the incoming horde!
Team Two
Round up the monkeys! The aim is to do this without harming and luckily they have some capture devices, that can be thrown to spring straps around a creature. Bribing them is also encouraged. The city has prepared vans for the creatures to be lured or taken to. Careful though, these monkeys are cunning and mischievous and clever enough to steal the capture devices and throw them back at the Voidtreckers! Who is catching who?
Team Three
Back in the zoo there is plenty to do. First and foremost the enclosures need fixing and reinforced. Also an investigation is underway to figure out what happened and who is responsible. If DIY or investigating work is not in a passengers skill set then there are still many other animals that need fed and cleaned!
Reward time!
Soon all the monkeys are back in their proper homes and the city put back to rights! As a thank you the zoo is handing out free ice cream and a free pass to enjoy the zoo for the day.
Have fun!

The advisor just wanted to take the pressure off of Noctis, as there had been nothing but pressure and responsibility on the young king's shoulders back home. So here he would do his best to try and make this place as unburden some and as stress free as he could. It was the very least he could do. So he sighed and as soon as the other's back was turned, Ignis reached into his pocket and stood behind Noctis.
And in front of the king's face would then appear a teddy bear dressed in blue.
"Do take better care of him than you did your room." There was a smile in that tone.

"I will. I promise."

At least Noctis was here and he totally wanted to stare to reassure himself that the other was actually here with him. But staring was rude as he pointed out at times. He did occasionally look back and smile, to make sure that the king was still present. He felt awkward and unsure, and was trying to give him some space to breathe and think.

"It kinda looks like Gladio, doesn't it?" He joked. "Maybe I'll name it Gladiolus."

Turning to Noct, he inclined his head. "Are you hungry?" And an unspoken question came up asking when the last time the king ate was.

As they ordered food and Ignis paid for it, (he ordered extra for the king but didn't say that's what he was doing) he turned to look at Noct with his teddy bear. "I make dinner for the boys every night, so I shall certainly expect you to accompany them."

He was not surprised to hear that Ignis cooked for their friends every night. "Yeah...I will. I won't avoid them, I promise."

It wasn't for Gladio and Prompto that he wanted Noct there but he said nothing. His ploy had worked and that's what mattered the most. As he ate and to give Noct time to both eat and stop mentally reeling, Ignis pulled out a little mini map the food vendor had and opened it. His green eyes scanned it and finished the bite of the pretzel he'd been chewing on.
"We can finish here.." His voice trailed off and his finger slid to the aquatic animals. "And there's some fish there, but I have a feeling casting a line will be highly discouraged."

Noct was happy for the quiet moment, and finished his food quietly. He looked at the map, smiling softly at their end point. "I wouldn't want to fish there...but seeing them will be nice." Something about water and fish always calmed him, even after the mess in Altissia.

Home.
That thought tugged on him until the king said he would like to see the fish so he would focus on that. The sobering thought of returning home could wait. Swallowing his bite of the doughy concoction he nodded, wiping his mouth with his napkin. "We'll see if they have anything like they did back on Eos."
