About you: Eastern US timezone. I use she/her pronouns. My career is in the healthcare field, and I am a bit of a science nerd generally speaking. I play Overwatch and Destiny 2 on weekends, and I really have fun at the arcades. Fandom wise, I have a wide variety of things I love (Transformers, TMNT, Steven Universe, Final Space, etc) and a long list of ‘to be watched’ to add to it.

Character: Spinel
Canon: Steven Universe; specifically the movie that transitions to the start of Season 5 episodes (Steven Universe Future)
Cabin and team: 1:E and Red. To her bunk buddies, I apologize in advance. (Spinel doesn’t sleep, so her first morning “waking up” will be a startle response)
Little bit about them: Spinel is a reformed villain who lashed out in her extreme pain. She truly wants to be a good friend (a real one, not a toy) and regrets her actions, but she’s going to have to work at it. Given a bit of time to trust and forgiveness when she will inevitably turn sour, she has the potential to be a loyal and sweet friend.
Hopes and dreams: Spinel knows next to nothing of organic lifeforms and she’s going to need someone to inform her of some basics (for example, she doesn’t know what sleep is or why humans need it). She loves making others smile and laugh, so if someone can get her going, that will put her at ease. Most importantly, Spinel needs a chance to feel worthwhile.

Caveat; Spinel is not emotionally stable, and as her player, I recognize not everyone will want to deal with that side of her. I will always try to offer warning OOC if she is heading a particularly bad way and exit her from threads in an IC manner if that is not something a character or their mundane wants to deal with at that time.

Sharing a team will definitely be enough reason for these two to interact at some point. Will is really interesting!

Spinel won’t be eager to be studied, so it will take a little while to get her to share more of her abilities. Just be patient with her and she eventually will warm up to someone that can convince her.

Evie here has the most patience in the world out of anyone on the train. She will happily explain all the wonky earth stuff Spinel doesn't get.

Gwen Stacy is not as patient, but she will happily teach Spinel to dance if she wants. And let her listen to all the music she has on her iPhone.

Cal Kestis is also one with the patience of a saint. He's also a Jedi, so there's some extra wonkiness to add to all of Spinel's question.

So...all of it. Seriously, Spinel has only scraps of knowledge about humans, and none of it useful. Spinel is smart so she’ll pick everything up quickly if it’s fully explained. Then she can be very helpful with chores~ (Just maybe not the cooking)

Listening to music would be soothing! Dancing may wait until later once she’s loosened up a bit, but it could be super fun!

Anyone she can learn from with patience will be most appreciated. Every effort will be remembered.

Little One and Taiki of mine are in red team. Little One is a brat so these two might clash, Taiki however is a being of compassion and kindness so will be very friendly if a bit awkward.

I also play Romeo who befriends everyone in the universe! So ready made friend right there!

We've chattered a bit in Discord (I'm Coop) but I'm really looking forward to getting a chance to play with you and Spinel!

My little kenku warlock would love to be her friend and is a very peppy person who tries his best to be thoughtful, patient, and kind. He get what it's like to be used and can kinda relate to her. He's a little bit strange but he's overall a good and he has lots of illusion magic.

Prisoner doesn't need to sleep so I'm super happy to handwave or rp over night shenanigans if you want! Right now I kinda handwave that he does random stupid things like stack rocks or stack misc gaming things (like making a card house). He plays a lot of video games over night rather than during the day, too. Nobody fights him for the controller that way. d: He doesn't have a mouth so he's not much for smiling and laughing, but he converses through charades and writing. He's also being taught sign language by some of the people on the train.

Paper sounds adorable. Being a little strange is needed to make friends with a gem sometimes. Spinel isn’t as peppy as she once was, but she’s still quite playful at heart!

Being bunkmates and after everything else we’ve talked about, Spinel will definitely hang out with Prisoner at night! I think it’d be fun to thread out some shenanigans, but we can handwave simpler things like Spinel hanging out watching him play video games or passing along some sign language to Spinel so they can communicate more easily.
