Passenger IC Questionnaire

[ooc: This is a questionnaire that Tony is handing out to everyone on the train both now and in the future. Please answer them IC. Also, thanks to Kinzie for doing the html.]

Congratulations! You’re now on the Void Train and no, that’s not a band name. This is, for better or worse, a new world for all of us and we’re stuck here. In order to detect patterns in these abductions, I’m conducting a survey. Please answer everything to the best of your ability. If you have any questions about the form please consult whoever is standing next to you other than me, because you should be intelligent enough to answer these very straight forward questions.

We don't. Not that I know of. We have people who believe in ghosts, but just about all of them turn out to be false. What happens when you loan your powers to someone else?

I mean, you never know. Ghosts cause a lot more mundane problems than you think.

[That's his reasoning behind all the shoulder aches and broken computers he's taken care of, at least.]

Anyway, the power loaning thing...only certain psychics can even do it. Mob can, but my other coworker and I can't. From what I gather, it's kind of like a battery? You can give the power to someone and they can use it how they want, but you'll lose the battery power yourself. And you can give only some of it so you still have some too? I still need to learn more about that part. [Now Reigen's giving himself his own questions, like how many batteries does Mob have? Could they put it in objects to save for later? Psychic power is weird.]

[He's still not buying that about ghosts, but he's not going to keep arguing about it. He didn't have sufficient evidence to point to when they were from different worlds, anyway. Plus, his interest is on that battery instead.]

Is it something you can still work towards while here or would you need training like you're doing for Mob?

Eh...that's where I'm not sure. It miiight be a training thing, but even professionals can't do certain things. It's like--oh, you know how some people are really good at running, but they can't do other sports? Psychic powers are the same. Someone might be able to move objects with their mind, but they can't use telepathy. ...does that factor into the genetic stuff again? Damn, Mr. Stark, you have me questioning my own knowledge too.

[That, and his capacity for bullshitting explanations for phenomena he didn't entirely understand himself. At least Tony seemed to be willing to believe the part where Reigen actually had some form of powers without him having to give the "Greatest Psychic of the 21st Century" speech.]

If it does, I'm assuming the battery-power-transfer thing is a rare one. I've only seen one other guy besides Mob do it, and...well, Mob is Mob. Even I don't know everything the kid is capable of, and I've known him for three years.

I'm a pain in the ass like that.

[It was too bad Mob wasn't here too. At least.. to a degree. It might also be good that he wasn't here when they had no defense toward psychic attacks or manipulation.]

So what is it that you can do? Let's stop talking about Mob since he's not here and you are. Are you a danger to other people on this train?

Oh, me? I can see and exorcize ghosts: not in the 'I'm sensing a presence that starts with the letter A so your dead grandma might be nearby' way, actual evil spirits. I also have experience in handling grudges and possession.

[Not technically a lie if he doesn't mention that some of those hauntings were just people mistaking the mundane for supernatural, and hey, he can see some ghosts.]

You don't have to worry about me hurting anyone. I make it a point not to use my powers on people unless it's self-defense.

[He didn't know how useful someone who could see and exorcize ghost was, but he wasn't going to say that aloud.]

Alright. I can live with that.

Grudges are like a weaker form of a curse: most of my mundane cases are either because of those or weaker spirits. Usually not anything some advice on lifestyle changes and the occasional exorcist technique can't fix.

[Massage therapy is absolutely an exorcist technique, trust him on this. ]

[He appears to be rapidly painting a mental picture with his hand before settling on a thumbs up. Apparently this is how he's signifying the end of the interview.]

Okay, but if you use a code word and I start clucking like a chicken, I will end you.

[Reigen very briefly considers if it's possible to convince Tony that he's already set the code word--nah, he's not that mean. He'll save it for when he has a conversation he actually needs to exit.]
