Test Drive Meme 009
1. Post with your character. I’ve written out some prompts but feel free to make up your own, you have a whole train to play with!
2. Assume they have been around long enough for threads to jump right into the action!
3. Have much fun!
Happy testing!
Dining Car
Situated above the kitchen the dining car has a large wooden table stretching the length of the carriage. Two long wooden benches run either side of it. At meal times it is inevitably crowded, chaotic and noisy without a doubt.
Try not to jostle your fellow diners as you navigate inter-universe table manners. Or is waiting better? Eating before or after everyone else so that you can eat in relative peace an entire table length from the next nearest person.
Or are you the rebel who starts a food fight?
Chores
Chores are part of life on board the Voidtrecker Express. Each team is assigned a task each month: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms, cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas, laundry and cooking.
Obviously the only thing enforcing these chores in a passengers own conscience and their fellow travellers.
Are you diligent or do you shirk? Do you try swapping your tasks with someone else? Or just outright bribing someone to do your work for you? Work together to get the task done or try and persuade a lazy team member to pull their weight.
Snow Way!
In a small village a copy-cat of the supervillain Professor Chill has struck! She has no weather machine but holds the same ability to control snow- and seems to be using natural winter to attack the village.
Team One
The village is being attacked by snowmen and ice golems. Magically animated ice creatures that attack with sticks and claws. Protect the village by fighting off the snow creatures!
Team Two
Many of the village have tried to escape through a mountain pass. Go and help them evacuate. Fend off monsters, carry children or luggage. Help the villagers through the snowdrifts.
Team Three
Our villain seems as fond of puns as her predecessor and finding her is made either easier or harder by the trail of clues left by her. Clues consist of puns, ice riddles and snow facts. Solve the clues and track her down to bring her to justice.
Snowball fight!
Of course once the monsters and villain have been defeated there is some time to have fun in the snow. If anyone can stand the sight of it any more. Snowballs, snow angels and snowmen (the non animated kind) are yours for the making.
Have fun!

Leave it to Piccolo to point out the pros and cons to each option. He liked to strategize more than most fighters from his world.
The fire spell caught Piccolo's attention. In theory he could use his ki to warm the area but it, too, would only last so long. If he created a ball of energy they would have to hover around it while he kept it in his hands and be careful not to touch. That wouldn't really do much for their travel woes. If he volleyed the area with a bunch of energy blasts it might raise the temperature a bit but there was the destructive force that was concern. Although it would help make the path easier to climb.
But the sight of Primrose's train jacket gave Piccolo another idea altogether. It would help keep out the cold for the longest period of time. And it wouldn't really cost him much to produce it. Nothing at all actually.
Piccolo held out a hand towards the ground. There was the briefest flash of light. On the ground where his hand was aimed towards there were now two new jackets just sitting there. They appeared to be modeled off the train's winter jackets but were the perfect size for the children here.
"That should help," he said. He looked at the children and nodded his head at the jackets. "Go on." To Primrose he continued, "I can make the path clear of snow if you prefer to take the children while I hold the pass, or one of the first two options. Your choice. If you make it quick enough."
If not, he'd just grab them all and start flying as it was the easiest solution and the quickest. And would leave less worry on his conscience as he made the fast decision for them.

"There. That will keep you warmer since it's tighter on you." She pulled up both of the children's hoods and made sure that the wind wasn't berating their cheeks. "There, is that okay?" Both of the children nodded their heads as Primrose took their hands. "Do you want to go with him or should we keep going up together?" The children looked up at Piccolo and hovered close to Primrose in fear of the large green man.
She looked up at Piccolo, her gaze apologetic. "I'm sorry. If you could help keep the path clear. The cave is close. I think we should be fine with the slower pace." Primrose picked up the smaller of the two kids and grabbed the hand of the other. "This should help though." She was stronger than she looked.

But this world didn't have huge bear people or talking dinosaur humanoids that were common folk amongst all the other Earthlings. He had to expect the reaction. He attempted not to scowl and instead his face twitched into a grimace that looked like he'd tasted something sour. It cleared as he nodded his head at the women.
"Done," he replied. Piccolo immediately turned around and swept his gaze over the winding path up the mountain. A moment later a medium sized ball of light appeared in his hand. It pulsated with power and glowed bright yellow-white. A second after it formed he threw it ahead of him.
This certainly wasn't one of Piccolo's usual attacks but something along the line of a few techniques put together to accomplish something entirely new. He wasn't trying to attack an opponent here. Instead, he used the ball of ki to instantly melt the snow it touched as it wound up the path, pushed and pulled in the current directions by his will and strength. The idea was mostly from Yamcha's spirit ball but Piccolo wasn't using as much energy since it wasn't an attack and to put it bluntly Piccolo's form was much more practiced and his control neater than most. In just a few seconds the path was clear of snow and much more easy to not only see but travel.
With that done Piccolo zipped the ball of energy into a larger boulder that could withstand the blow and then looked over his shoulder at the women and two children. "That will make it easier for you. I'll take to the air to make certain nothing follows. If you need me, call out. It doesn't have to be loud. I can hear better than a human," he told her. Then without waiting for a reply he hopped into the air and flew to a decent enough height so he could keep an eye out for more ice monsters on the prowl.
