Test Drive Meme 009
1. Post with your character. I’ve written out some prompts but feel free to make up your own, you have a whole train to play with!
2. Assume they have been around long enough for threads to jump right into the action!
3. Have much fun!
Happy testing!
Dining Car
Situated above the kitchen the dining car has a large wooden table stretching the length of the carriage. Two long wooden benches run either side of it. At meal times it is inevitably crowded, chaotic and noisy without a doubt.
Try not to jostle your fellow diners as you navigate inter-universe table manners. Or is waiting better? Eating before or after everyone else so that you can eat in relative peace an entire table length from the next nearest person.
Or are you the rebel who starts a food fight?
Chores
Chores are part of life on board the Voidtrecker Express. Each team is assigned a task each month: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms, cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas, laundry and cooking.
Obviously the only thing enforcing these chores in a passengers own conscience and their fellow travellers.
Are you diligent or do you shirk? Do you try swapping your tasks with someone else? Or just outright bribing someone to do your work for you? Work together to get the task done or try and persuade a lazy team member to pull their weight.
Snow Way!
In a small village a copy-cat of the supervillain Professor Chill has struck! She has no weather machine but holds the same ability to control snow- and seems to be using natural winter to attack the village.
Team One
The village is being attacked by snowmen and ice golems. Magically animated ice creatures that attack with sticks and claws. Protect the village by fighting off the snow creatures!
Team Two
Many of the village have tried to escape through a mountain pass. Go and help them evacuate. Fend off monsters, carry children or luggage. Help the villagers through the snowdrifts.
Team Three
Our villain seems as fond of puns as her predecessor and finding her is made either easier or harder by the trail of clues left by her. Clues consist of puns, ice riddles and snow facts. Solve the clues and track her down to bring her to justice.
Snowball fight!
Of course once the monsters and villain have been defeated there is some time to have fun in the snow. If anyone can stand the sight of it any more. Snowballs, snow angels and snowmen (the non animated kind) are yours for the making.
Have fun!

Olivia "Liv" Moore | iZombie
[She feels more than a little strange sitting in the dining car, especially given her dietary restrictions. It's not like Liv tends to go out wining and dining on the regular, as what is the point? Tensions have been troublesome enough anyway, and she just makes her spicy foods at home, or in the morgue, which once may have made her wrinkle her nose in disgust, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.
The question is, now what? It's not like they had said, Hello! We are kidnapping you for experiments! or anything like that. Not that she wants to be kidnapped for experiments anyway. Ravi she trusts, and she knows him, so he can poke and prod, well maybe not prod, but the sentiment remains. It's not like he had to help her once he had learned, but he did, and he's been a great help since.
But now?
She is pale on pale on pale. Pale skin. Pale hair. Her disguise had been gone when she had found herself on the platform, but it's not like anyone had run around screaming zombie and tried to blow her head off. She'd pass on that experience. But she does find that this place makes little sense, and the answers that she has gotten aren't exactly the clearest. She didn't buy a ticket and she didn't win a trip, but here she is, a hero- She glances up, a deer in headlights look as she catches someone's gaze, and smiles after a moment.]
Oh. Don't mind me. Not that hungry. A lot of my mind, you know.
[Her table is completely void of both food and water.]
[Exploring]
[Liv doesn't really know what to make of it all. The train is like a normal train in some regards, and yet really not in others. Looking outside the windows can tell you that. There is a part of her that wonders if it is just some illusion and what would happen if she tried to open one, but she's not there yet.
She has been in the library longer than intended, snooping around as if looking for clues.]
The Butler, in the library, with the candlestick!
[Muttering to herself as she continued to nose around. Nothing had really turned up though, other than the fact that all the books did seem to be of a wide variety, and the quality of some left something to be desired... No history or real explanation. No computer to start up on a search engine and ask google where am I or what is the voidtrecker express?
Later she is roaming the hallways, a tube in one hand, as someone aboard seemed to know her secret... Not that she's ever needed to survive of them, as working in the morgue had given her access to the brain supply that she needed, but the last thing that she wanted to happen here was for her to go legit zombie and start snacking on living people...
She does poke around the medical car. Once, of course, she had wanted to actually deal with living people, but after everything that had happened a the boat party, Liv had needed to change the whole entire trajectory of her life. Not that others had understood what had caused it, as it wasn't something that Liv could explain without fear. Things had changed a little though, and she wondered over the materials as she poked about cupboards and looked at the various areas that consisted of the medical area.]
Not out of the dark ages, anyway.
[Snow Way! - Team One]
[A mission. It seems a little strange, but then again, she is a zombie. How much stranger is it when compared to that? The cold doesn't really bother her, although she is bundled up regardless, as she most certainly doesn't want to accidentally do anything that's going to make another person have the same condition that she has.
It seems like something out of a movie, but she doesn't feel like a certain mouse's princess. Magically animated ice creatures - not that she actually quite believes that, maybe. Like her own state of being, it could well be something that science just doesn't understand, right?
It is why Liv may be more than a little skeptical, even as they creatures start to advance. People in a costume? They do look fairly authentic, if so, and she does find herself watching them advance with a keen mind, wondering about- until a stick is aimed at her.]
Hey! How about we don't?
[Okay, so they are serious and she's going to have to pay a little more attention, even though her mind does go to Ravi, thinking that he would likely find all of this fascinating. But her hand reached out, tugging the stick away, and then what? She gives a kick, watching it tumble to the side, but she's distracted by the appearance of another creature, raising her stick to parry the blow, although she'd have been much better had she eaten a brain of someone who at least had some sword skills.]
No. Stop it. You're starting to make me angry...
[Because that smarted, being whacked with a stick, and maybe this is a bit more serious than a winter wonderland. It's not like any of it makes sense, but if these things are trying to harm the village, well, Liv's not going to let that happen.]
Watch it!
[As she whacks the head of a snowman advancing on the person near her with her stolen stick.]
