Welcome to our Test Drive Meme! Here is the place to see how your character might fit the setting, grab some samples and start having fun!

Dining Car

Situated above the kitchen the dining car has a large wooden table stretching the length of the carriage. Two long wooden benches run either side of it. At meal times it is inevitably crowded, chaotic and noisy without a doubt.

Try not to jostle your fellow diners as you navigate inter-universe table manners. Or is waiting better? Eating before or after everyone else so that you can eat in relative peace an entire table length from the next nearest person.

Or are you the rebel who starts a food fight?

Chores

Chores are part of life on board the Voidtrecker Express. Each team is assigned a task each month: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms, cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas, laundry and cooking.

Obviously the only thing enforcing these chores in a passengers own conscience and their fellow travellers.

Are you diligent or do you shirk? Do you try swapping your tasks with someone else? Or just outright bribing someone to do your work for you? Work together to get the task done or try and persuade a lazy team member to pull their weight.

Snow Way!

In a small village a copy-cat of the supervillain Professor Chill has struck! She has no weather machine but holds the same ability to control snow- and seems to be using natural winter to attack the village.

Team One

The village is being attacked by snowmen and ice golems. Magically animated ice creatures that attack with sticks and claws. Protect the village by fighting off the snow creatures!

Team Two

Many of the village have tried to escape through a mountain pass. Go and help them evacuate. Fend off monsters, carry children or luggage. Help the villagers through the snowdrifts.

Team Three

Our villain seems as fond of puns as her predecessor and finding her is made either easier or harder by the trail of clues left by her. Clues consist of puns, ice riddles and snow facts. Solve the clues and track her down to bring her to justice.

Snowball fight!

Of course once the monsters and villain have been defeated there is some time to have fun in the snow. If anyone can stand the sight of it any more. Snowballs, snow angels and snowmen (the non animated kind) are yours for the making.

For a moment she does ponder if he is from the same galaxy as herself, given how he looks at her, but then he does speak, and it is not a name that she is familiar with. Not her and not any of her handmaidens. "Padmé. Padmé Amidala."

A curious expression, but she must bear a passing resemblance to someone that he knows. That is her guess anyway. "It is a little spicy at times, but overall, I cannot complain."

Thor nods, almost jerkily.

"I must apologize. You look much like someone I knew, recently. A scientist who, just a month ago, aided in saving the Realms." Tall company, brave company, in Thor's heart and mind.

"I most times find Midgardian food also spicy, but I find that some spices reverse this."

Padmé isn't the most scientifically inclined, not that it has ever bothered her. Everyone has their own strengths and their own weaknesses, afterall, and it is how one uses them that truly matters. She doesn't dwell on what she can't do, but rather what she can.

"You never need to apologize for something that like," Padmé offers with a smile. After all, it is just a small case of mistaken identity. "Midgardian?"

"A, a person from the realm Midgard, also called the planet Earth. I think they call themselves humans."

He waves at the food. "This food reminds me of their foods." He still feels somewhat stunned at seeing her, and glances at her before looking away.

"Oh! I've heard people speak about Earth here." Several of those have come from that planet, although not all. She is aware of people from her own galaxy as well, and a few others places that she has never heard about.

"And you are not from this Earth Midgard?"

"I am not, though I am fond of it. I am from Asgard, the golden city." he nodded, eyes warm as he remembered that place, and wished, again, he was back there.

"Where do you come from, if I may ask?"

It isn't a place that Padmé is familiar with either, although that doesn't bother her. Even within her own galaxy, there are many planets that she is unaware of. One could spent their whole like dedicated to learning it all, and still not come close.

"The planet of my birth is called Naboo." Although Padmé would be surprised if he had heard of it.

"I do not know that one, but I am sure it is magnificent. Such beauty could only come from such a world."

Yes, that weas... welll... Thor not flirting very well. er.

It earns a light laugh from Padmé as she regards him and she does manage to keep her expression neutral for a moment as she speaks. "I could say that it is a horrible planet, filled with molten lava on one half and sand on the other... But that would be a lie."

"Even if you did, it would not be horrible, I think. There is beauty even in such dark and fiery environs."

His grin was off-center and jolly.

"Someday, perhaps, I can show you the firepits of Muspelheim."

He certainly is a smooth talker, Padmé notes, with a bemused roll of her eyes. She isn't so easily swayed, although she doesn't take his words too closely to heart either. "That's a location on your home planet?"

"Nay. It is another realm, a world unto its own, Ruled by Surtr, king of the Muspellians, the Fire Giants in the common tongue. He is somewhat sharp and broody, but one who genuinely respects him and gives him candor and kindness can win a time to enjoy the fires and the warmth of a world that never runs cold."

He spoke it gently, genuinely, and his eyes on hers were utterly honest, even as he smiled. Thor never flattered without truth in his words, and he never misspoke unless he was honestly wrong.

"The whole world is molten then?" Padmé would be lying if she said she wasn't partial to Naboo. It's moderate. Warm, but not too warm, rarely getting that cold. It isn't a planet of extremes, but rather a planet of soft gentleness that does have a unique plasma core. "And are they actually giants?"

"Nay, merely most of it. There is rock and even some soil areas, where crystal food is grown by the giants. And aye, they are giants, yes, most standing a good 13 to 16 feet tall."

Thor had faced and bested them in combat, a few times, but he did not relish it anymore.

"Ah. They would be quite taller than I then." Although that is a fairly easy feat when it comes to Padmé. She isn't the tallest individual, just a little over five feet tall herself, although she also knows that height doesn't mean everything. She is more than happy to have people underestimate her for it.

"Taller than anyone, I do think." She was not tall, but he liked that height. Nice to sit on his lap, and still kiss... he drug his mind away from those images and shook his head.

"With the right training, you could beat them."

It was a soft noise that Padmé made at that comment, as no doubt back home her guards were shaking their heads. She got in to enough trouble already that adding additional fighting to it... And, she wasn't really a fighter in that regard. Give her a just cause, and Padmé would do all that she could to make it better, but she preferred being a Senator and using her words to using her fists. "I'm a politician for my planet. My voice tends to be my weapon of choice."

He chuckled at that noise and nodded, to her, not fighting her desire of statement.

"I hope it always serves you well then. I have never been good at using mine. Never using it wisely, anyway." He knew his weaknesses, at last, or thought he did. his awareness had been forced by events, but it was real enough.

Padmé may have given him another glance, as she would guess, if she had to, that an actual weapon would likely better suit his need. She would never have the strength or the build to actually face someone one on one. She could handle her blaster well enough and plan, but in the brute force department, Padmé was aware that she was lacking.

"I've no doubt with time and practice, you may well surprise yourself." It had always come naturally to Padmé but she knew that it wasn't always the case with others.

Thor squinted at her and shook his head. "I am not so sure. I think, mayhap, I am made for more course things. For battle and for the defense of others. that is my calling." His voice was soft, and deep, as he spoke, eyes distant.

"But I am glad to be here, to meet people like you, and to learn new things. I think."
