Welcome to our Test Drive Meme! Here is the place to see how your character might fit the setting, grab some samples and start having fun!

1. Post with your character. I’ve written out some prompts but feel free to make up your own, you have a whole train to play with!

2. Assume they have been around long enough for threads to jump right into the action!

Dining Car

Situated above the kitchen the dining car has a large wooden table stretching the length of the carriage. Two long wooden benches run either side of it. At meal times it is inevitably crowded, chaotic and noisy without a doubt.

Try not to jostle your fellow diners as you navigate inter-universe table manners. Or is waiting better? Eating before or after everyone else so that you can eat in relative peace an entire table length from the next nearest person.

Or are you the rebel who starts a food fight?

Chores

Chores are part of life on board the Voidtrecker Express. Each team is assigned a task each month: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms, cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas, laundry and cooking.

Obviously the only thing enforcing these chores in a passengers own conscience and their fellow travellers.

Are you diligent or do you shirk? Do you try swapping your tasks with someone else? Or just outright bribing someone to do your work for you? Work together to get the task done or try and persuade a lazy team member to pull their weight.

Snow Way!

In a small village a copy-cat of the supervillain Professor Chill has struck! She has no weather machine but holds the same ability to control snow- and seems to be using natural winter to attack the village.

Team One

The village is being attacked by snowmen and ice golems. Magically animated ice creatures that attack with sticks and claws. Protect the village by fighting off the snow creatures!

Team Two

Many of the village have tried to escape through a mountain pass. Go and help them evacuate. Fend off monsters, carry children or luggage. Help the villagers through the snowdrifts.

Team Three

Our villain seems as fond of puns as her predecessor and finding her is made either easier or harder by the trail of clues left by her. Clues consist of puns, ice riddles and snow facts. Solve the clues and track her down to bring her to justice.

Of course once the monsters and villain have been defeated there is some time to have fun in the snow. If anyone can stand the sight of it any more. Snowballs, snow angels and snowmen (the non animated kind) are yours for the making.

Thor turns ass the young man starts coughing and claps the young one on the back a few times, gently, for him.

"Are you alright? Yes, I am Thor. Yes, its mostly true. Unless you heard it from Loki. In which case it was all lies." He says all of this with the same pleasant smile, though there is hurt lingering in those eyes.

"Yes. Absolutely." Peter nods enthusiastically. Of course he's alright, he's way better than that-he's getting to meet Thor! He's dreamed of this moment since he was ten and in all that time he never figured out what he'd say if he did. And Mr Stark said he gained a bunch of weight. It doesn't look that way to Peter.

"I-uh-No! No, I haven't met your brother." He's not sure he wants to. Sort of, due to a vague curiosity but no, that's probably a bad idea. "I was-I just. UH. I'm Peter, By the way. Peter Parker."

"It is good to meet you, Peter Parker. Midgardian names are so odd, but yours makes sense. I hope you are enjoying this new space."

He nodded and started eating some more, eyeing this young man.

"My middle name's Benjamin." Peter offers before he can even think to stop him. Realization dawns and he's now kicking himself for saying something so stupid. Thor doesn't care about his middle name. Get it together, Parker!

"Um... Yeah, t-totally. Same. it's great to-to meet you. Too, as well, I mean." Nonexistent god, he must look like such an idiot standing here, tripping over his words and holding a half eaten slice of toast. There's probably even jam on his face to really complete the picture. He wipes his face with the sleeve of his hoodie and realizes that's terrible manners.

"That is a good solid name. A strange one, by my world's rights, but I am sure it is a good one in yours." He nodded. Thor cared, young one, Thor cared.

That was perfect manners to Thor and he grinned. "Sit with me, my friend. Let us drink, and eat, and sing!" He was a man who did not like to sit unjolly for long.

"Um.. it was my Uncle's." He says a bit awkwardly, a little surprised that Thor did seem to care. He shouldn't-all the clips and stuff he'd seen of Thor on the internet and stuff made him seem really nice. Unless, of course, you were part of the Chituri Army invasion.

Then he's invited to sit with him and it's like he freezes all over again. Why does he have to be so awkward? He's being invited to sit with the God of Thunder and all he can do is stare dumbly. Great first impression you're making there, Peter.

"Um Yeah. Sure, of course." He runs his mouth again and moves over to sit with him. "I mean, I'm not really much of a singer though."

Thor smiled gently at the young man, warmed by him and reminded, suddenly, of himself when he was young.

"When I was young, I would wander the tables of Valhalla, listening to tales told by the warriors, and thinking I would never grow so bold or strong or good at things as they would." he smiled at Peper.

"In truth, I am not, yet, but I think I understand."

And that was all he said of that, bef0ore he nodded to the man's words.

"Why not? Do you not feel joy?" Explain to him this lack of singing, Peter-man. Are you sick?

Peter finds himself wondering what 'when I was young' actually meant because he's pretty sure he read about Thor in a Norse Mythology book that was printed-well that one was printed in the eighties, but it was on recorded data from thousands of years ago.

"O-oh.. I couldn't really do much when I was little." Because he's sixteen and doesn't really consider himself to be little. "I uh... had a lot of health issues so I just read a lot." He admits at the same time mentally cursing himself for over sharing.

"I just meant I'm not very good at it? I'm not... bad, I don't think. Just not great."

5000-ish years ago, give or take a few 5000 years. Ish.

"Nor I. I had to be taught, and trained, and shown the way. All people must." he clapped Peter on the shoulder... gently.

"Be calm, my friend."

He laughed.

"Singing is not about being good at it, it is about expressing joy. I am no professional scald, but I sing because it is fun."

"I um... health issues so I couldn't-well, I'm learning now. Sorta. There's a huge learning curve." He says, still nervous. It's not you Thor, well, actually it is-but Peter Parker lives in a constant state of anxiety. So being calm isn't really an option.

"We'll, that's true. It is fun." Peter admits, still fidgeting in his seat, thinking about how just the other day he was singing along to Beyonce.

"Now is all one can hope for." he nodded to the other.

"I tried singing to some of the Midgardian tunes, some are easier than others." He admits it easily, grinning.

"I liked Elsa's song in Frozen. It reminded me muchly of my life."

"Yeah, that's..." He thinks briefly of all the people he's lost but shoves the thought aside as he just doesn't really want to get all down while talking to Thor. He instead just takes another bite of toast, listening to Thor talk about Midgardian tunes and he can't help himself when Thor says it reminded him of his life.

"So, you're saying that the fears that once controlled you, can't get to you at all?" He grins, blushing slightly because dear god is he the wost. Don't make Disney Puns at Thor, Peter. What are you doing?

"Um... sorry. I just. There's a line in the song and I just..."

"Exactly that." His face breaks into a grin as he hums softly, utterly on key. It's time to see what I can do, To test the limits and breakthrough, No right, no wrong, no rules for me,
I'm free..."

Thor smirked and nodded. "I had been looking at Erik's movie collection when I met them and accidentally took the movie back to Asgard. It is very popular there."

Great, Thor sings way better than he does. He's not sure exactly what it was he was expecting but it wasn't that. Now he's definitely not singing for you, Thor. You just put him to shame.

"That's just what Disney needs, to start marketing to Asgard." Peter shakes his head and takes another bite of toast. "They're making a sequel, actually. I don't know when it's supposed to come out but I'm definitely gonna go see it-or.. well. Maybe." You know, if he gets off the void train.

"You and I should sing together." You would not refuse Thor would you, Peter??

"They are? I would love to see that!"

Thor grinned warmly and bouncy. "Maybe the train will take us there. Or maybe to Arendelle." He nodded. "That would be fun."

Well, that depends, which is stronger? His need to please or crippling anxiety? There's also added pressure to please because it's Thor and too bad he feels like he just forgot all the words to every song he's ever heard.

"Uh... I-I guess. Yeah, sure. Uh... wh-what do you want to sing?" He might have doubted the chance of going Arendelle but not he just really doesn't know.

"I do not know. We should find a song and practice it, and then we can sing it when we go into battle." Thor nodded. Such was a good way to do things.

"I have a feeling we will make this a grand time, my friend"
