So Nita is working on (A) soundproofing cabins and (B) studying the 'reset mechanism' and how it accounts for different circadian rhythms.

If he actually wants to try sleeping, and he happens to bug Nita while she's working on these things, she'd be willing to help him out.

Well, he would except that he doesn't really want to sleep. He does in the sense he needs sleep but he's afraid of nightmares and prefers to just try and stay up as late as he can.
