Welcome to the Voidtrecker. This is, for better or worse, a new world for all of us and we’re stuck here. In order to detect patterns in these abductions, get important safety information, and other important details for living in this community I’m conducting a survey. Please answer everything to the best of your ability. If you have any questions about the form please consult whoever is standing next to you other than me, because you should be intelligent enough to answer these very straight forward questions.

All information presented here will be kept strictly confidential and the purpose is to collect data.

That, sadly, I cannot. We are limited here to scraps and whatever we're able to collect on the worlds we visit.

[Doubtful they ever find mithril anywhere. Not while simultaneously occupied with whatever mission objective they were saddled with. Even without the mission, a week's time is awfully little to look for rare metals. Even less to actually excavate some.]

Three weeks?

[That's ... a surprisingly short amount of time for such work. Fëanor was to return the hand to her but now that she said that he has to take another look. There's not a single flaw in the lines of silver. It wouldn't be anything worth mentioning. A job well executed is its own reward. If not for the fact that she did it all with one hand.]

You must have an unusually steady hand then.

Honestly, this whole version is not the best I can do, I just haven't had TIME to build a more advanced version.

Now I have the time, just not the tools...

That's a common predicament on this train.

[Fëanor gives the hand back to its rightful owner and author. She could hardly find a more sympathetic ear on the whole train for such complaints. He still can't get over the fact that he has been reduced to basically scavenging for materials on each of the worlds they visit.
The lack of proper forge is also rather depressing.]
