Welcome to the Voidtrecker. This is, for better or worse, a new world for all of us and we’re stuck here. In order to detect patterns in these abductions, get important safety information, and other important details for living in this community I’m conducting a survey. Please answer everything to the best of your ability. If you have any questions about the form please consult whoever is standing next to you other than me, because you should be intelligent enough to answer these very straight forward questions.

All information presented here will be kept strictly confidential and the purpose is to collect data.

[Duo wasn't a complete asshat, okay? He knew when he'd pushed too far. He'd learned that from working with Heero and Wufei. So, he decided to sit. He pulled out a chair and sat himself down. That big smile he'd been wearing was schooled into something less manic and more calmer, friendlier.]

I said technically. Because technically you'd call me a terrorist. Least that's what OZ called us. And the media. But hey, we did what we did to for a good cause. So technically I was trained for that. Some of it was military training. Most of it specialist. Demolitions, infiltrating, hacking, anything I needed to know to sneak into shit and blow it up on the way out.

As for Gundams... My training was actually to kill anyone who saw my Gundam or asked questions. I didn't always adhere to that part of my training though. But I'm quickly workin out that what I knew ain't what's going on here. So Gundam's are basically advances mobile suits. And mobile suits are massive robots with human pilots. I'm a pilot.

Oh. [He strikes out most of his notes.] Alright. I see.

[Amazing how one's tone of voice can change in a matter of seconds. All was needed were three words. Demolitions. Infiltration. Pilot. It's too early to say for certain but they could have really used another person with such a skillset on their last mission. Things would have been a whole lot easier.
The whole terrorist explanation gets no comment at all. Fëanor doesn't have a very clean record himself. Or even close to one.]

So if, theoretically, a need arises to use a spacecraft of unknown origin with little to no instruction do you think you'll be able to pilot something like that?

[Duo cocked his head in thought, considering the question. It would depend, he supposed. Given the things he'd seen and heard (and the kinds of people he'd bumped into so far) if the spacecraft wasn't built for humans he'd have a tough time of it. But... he still grinned.]

Might take me a hot second to work it out, but yeah, I think I could do it.

[Nevermind the fact that he had been the best pilot out of the five of the Gundam Pilots, he had SOME modesty...]

[The possibility they will have to deal with constructions there weren't built with humans in mind is quite high. Hopefully, not again one that requires four arms of a pilot but given the sheer diversity of the worlds he has already seen... better prepare for such occasions too.

You mean knives? Knives I can do. If you're talkin swords and shit, I've never used one before. I know a guy with a katana but he'd run me through with it sooner than let me touch it.

[In fact, Wufei had threatened him with that very thing after Duo had asked to get a better look at it.]

But knives and daggers I can work with. I guess you could say I like getting up close and personal with the bad guys.
