Welcome to the Voidtrecker. This is, for better or worse, a new world for all of us and we’re stuck here. In order to detect patterns in these abductions, get important safety information, and other important details for living in this community I’m conducting a survey. Please answer everything to the best of your ability. If you have any questions about the form please consult whoever is standing next to you other than me, because you should be intelligent enough to answer these very straight forward questions.

All information presented here will be kept strictly confidential and the purpose is to collect data.
Please fill it out and deliver it to me, Tony Stark. You'll most likely find me in my lab (aka, the quiet room that has a lock, a 'keep out' sign, and glass painted).

That's... quite the laundry list of things to be, Mr. Stark. And so humble, too. So all of this must be... pretty much hell for you then, right? Cramped spaces, not much in the way of resources... How do you manage to not go insane?

[He chuckles along with Jack, but his expression sobers a bit at the question. He looks off to the side briefly before returning his gaze to the tall man in front of him.]

This is an unusual place. There are plenty of inconveniences and yes, they do drive me crazy sometimes but.. there are a lot of good people here and we're doing very important work.

[He tapped the spot on Jack's questionnaire that says he can't die.]

I'm not fortunate enough to have your unique talent. But give the place a chance. It might surprise you.

[ That Tony is willing to actually talk about all the good work being done while also talking about his own frustrations... it's a rather nice look at the situation. Maybe he could do something to help, too. Maybe he'd been brought here to help. ]

I don't know if I'd call it good fortune, but it's been useful, I can at least say that. Helped save my world a fair number of times with it. Guess we've got that in common.

As for giving the place a chance, honestly? I haven't been this excited in ages. You know how hard it is to stay cooped up in one place after having been on dozens of different worlds and in so many different times? Just... watching the days roll by one by one when you know there's better ways to experience time?

I feel a bit like one of those lab monkeys being put in a tree for the first time. I can't wait to see what's out there.

[Tony was glad his answer hadn't led to any questions regarding being able to die. He knew he probably had an unhealthy preoccupation with that anyway. His eyebrows rose in surprise hearing Jack was excited about being here.]

No, but I can imagine. If adventure is what you're craving, you'll get it. But.. in the meantime get to know your purple team. It's full of good people. I'm around if you need anything.

Thanks. It sounds like you've got your heart in this... and that's pretty admirable, honestly. You seem like a good person, Mr. Stark. Thanks for taking the time to talk to me.

[ He extends a hand for a formal handshake. ]

[ He lets his hold on his hand linger just a moment, and he offers a warm smile. ]

Nah. If you're fooling anyone, it's you, if you don't think you're doing this cos you're a good person. I'm a pretty good judge of character, Mr. Stark. You're one of the good ones, whether you believe it or not.

[ Finally, he releases his grip and turns to leave. ]
