Welcome to the Voidtrecker. This is, for better or worse, a new world for all of us and we’re stuck here. In order to detect patterns in these abductions, get important safety information, and other important details for living in this community I’m conducting a survey. Please answer everything to the best of your ability. If you have any questions about the form please consult whoever is standing next to you other than me, because you should be intelligent enough to answer these very straight forward questions.

A Bay Area warehouse caught fire August [1 year ago], the resulting blaze spread to several downtown streets. 15 cases of mass livestock predation by unknown wildlife. 23 government officials terminated for corruption.

What is the most advanced technological device in your world? I am not sure what you mean by “most advanced”. Current developing fields include human-device interfacing technologies, quantum-based aerospace engineering, and application of maglev to private vehicles.

Yes. Kale is a vegetable. So you can substitute Fred as one of the options if you don't want to be associated with a leafy green.

Fred is an existing name for humans. It would be less confusing to use a more unique name. [Thought that was the point of “names”, to differentiate people, yet every human she meets she has to point that out to for some reason and also there are three people called “Rachel” or whatever. Humans are weird.]
