February Information and CR Meme!
We hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.
IC Month
This month is the month of Domino. Days can be found here.
The thought of the month is "Life was made for good friends and great adventures."
The challenge is: Any thread where you are meeting new CR earns you two team points! The thread must be with someone you have not written with before in game but assumed CR is alright (e.g if they are your roommate, or a castmate).
Threads that fulfil this criteria can be submitted during February AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC!
Recipes are here. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom and characters are welcome to make other food with them.
This months chore assignments are:
Orange: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Blue: Meal Preparation
Purple: Laundry
Red: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
The Train.
As the month ticks over into the month of Domino the train will stop to pick up new passengers. When everyone rejoins the train they will notice that there is a fifth sleeper carriage to accommodate new arrivals.
The shop has been updated to add a cosmetics kit to merchandise! Points have been updated on the passenger roster.
If your character does anything to alter the setting please let me know!
Important Dates

~ A countdown timer, the icon for which will appear on the day the new passengers arrive.
New players may find it useful to read the arrival information if they haven’t already!

Character: Nita Callahan
About them: Ah, the Young Wizards verse - where kids take Oaths to slow down Entropy and join one of the most hope-in-the-face-of-despair battles EVER. Because the battle is Life, and Life isn't fair. 8') Anyway, Nita's enemies were once her bullies and now include the inventor of Death (who is more into ambivalence nowadays), and her abilities started at bookworm and now include commanding huge bodies of water and playing with nuclear reactions.
Basically, expect shenanigans, though for the most part Nita will just be going 'WTF?' at the whole situation and trying to help people/the Train itself.
Plans: The peridexis, tagging along in Nita's head, is going to have its own questions, but apart from the initial station drop/attempts to communicate with the Train I have no concrete plans! Hit me up!
CR wanted: I'll take all that you got~
Things to avoid: I would like to avoid Nita dying unless it's particularly narratively compelling. =P Apart from that I don't have anything, really? It depends on your own 'no' list.

About them: OC. 11 year old assassin apprentice who is from a fantasy world. She was in the first batch of passengers so considers herself an expert in the train (she's not) and has been slowly learning about all sorts of things whilst pretending she's not a shadow serving agent. She has, after much deliberation, decided Peter is her friend.
Plans: Meeting all the new people. Bratting at people. She really needs to do something terrible at some point.

Character: Romeo
About them: Romeo's Blue Skies with a Far Shore CRAU. 11 year old child from the alps who sold himself into contractual slavery to save his dying father, worked as a chimney sweep, was part of a secret gang of chimney sweep kids. Makes lots of dramatic vows.
Then he died and went to heaven where he became a weapon for a god. That god is Elfnein and she is adorable. They both ended up on the train. His weapon form is a weasel and has the power to make you feel hopeful when you are close to him. This is all you need to know about Romeo.
Plans: Ice cream bakeoff with Kumoko is happening! Also Hibiki is arriving and she will need friends (and is bad at making them herself so he will need to help. Obviously) He's easy to throw around and I am always up for shenanigans. Oh also he has so many points and he is super manipulable. Just saying.
CR wanted: All of it. Seriously.

Character: Taiki
About them: 12 Kingdoms. Taiki is the kirin of Tai, a benevolent creature whose purpose is to find the ruler of their land and serve that ruler, keeping them on the correct path. However everything went terribly wrong, so much that Taiki got to star in his own horror novel! Yay! He is a kind, timid young man who is also paranoid and cautious.
Plans: He's brand new! So just arriving. Being melodramatic and then being ill for a little while.
CR wanted: All of it!

Character: Evie Grimhilde
About them: Descendants 3: Disney Villains had Kids! The kids are NOT ASSHOLES most of the time. Evie is the least assholeish, but probably has limits. She likes cooking, can't bake, loves sewing and is pretty much a badass in high heels. And friendly AF.
Plans: I'm a sad sack on hiatus because I just started nightshift so I have no plans, come at me though for anything after my return. Evie's only plot is things with Tobias, but she needs more.
CR wanted: Friends. Family. Found family is best family.
Things to avoid: Nothing that I can think of, tbh. Also? Brain fog from night shift, so that's probably why.
Character: Gwen Stacy
About them: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Gwen is her universes Spider Person. She drums. She sings. She dances. She sasses. Unless she doesn't like you, then she just flat out tells you.

About them: Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. Survivor of Order 66, on his own for years. Now coming into his own as a recently knighted Jedi Knight. Can see the history of an object just by touching it. Came with his own Emotional Support Droid.
Plans: Hanging out with Renee? Getting to know the other Jedi's on board? Keeping BD-1 well away from Vader?
CR wanted: Anything. Gimme.

About them: You know, that one flippy Spider Guy from that one franchise about all the super heroes? He's a lot of fun but also kind of a disaster. He is very friendly though.
Plans: Nothing to speak of. He got a gift to give Gwen and some stuff to give May but other than that, he's free and open to meeting new people.
CR wanted: Everything. But specifically CR with People he does't currently have CR with.
Things to avoid: There is a thing in Peter's past he would like to keep hidden but is still kinda triggered by certain things. Don't call him Einstein.
Character: The Doctor (11th)
About them: He's an alien from outer space. He know a lot of stuff and loves to talk about said stuff.
Plans: Reunion with Jack! Sulking over losing Clara and maybe losing his temper over it but other than that nah
CR wanted: Everyone and Everything. Come at me bro
Things to avoid: Just try to avoid making him angry. It's not a pretty sight.

About them: OC! Dead at 14, been a ghost for 200 years. Very keen on seeing what's become of the world in her absence, very melodramatic. Traumatic fear of being alone.
Plans: Brand new! Meeting people, being less interested in the "magic" part of being on a magic train and more interested in the "train" part. She's never seen a train, let alone electric lights!
CR wanted: It's too early to be too specific because I want EVERY CR, but I definitely eventually want a Good Dad for Ivy to replace her previous horrible dad.

About them: That one anime we all grew up on (whether we liked it or not), some green not!demon space alien not!dad teacher dude with flying and laser beams from hands kinda stuff.
Plans: Just coming in. Prolly gonna be throwing "lasers" at the station so that's a thing to popcorn.gif at. Also, not gonna wear train clothes for more than 30 seconds I guarantee it. Someone catch him magic that clothing out of nothing. Future plans? Idk. Try not to get into a fight with Darth Vader??? Because that would be bad for anyone around. I jest (but seriously). Although, talking to Star Wars characters would probably lead to some interesting ki versus Force comparisons.

About them: Hitman
Plans: Not particularly. Although. He has been working on the garden boxes (with Prisoner specifically for creating the boxes, others perhaps for planting and maintenance?) so if anyone's interested in that contact me? And/or Tony-mun who originally threw up a post about it. There won't be enough for every carriage but if you have any suggestions where one should be placed, please let me know. Gonna add those to the shenanigans page soon.
CR wanted: Pretty much anything. He's fairly easy-going since he literally has no emotions about anything and day-to-day life is rather...boring.

About them: Thief, master sneak thief from an industrial era-like world but with a CRAU from Ryslig that gives him a little bit of modern-ish knowledge. also some monster parts. He's an arachne so if you have issues with Spiders or Scorpions let me know.
Plans: He's content to stay on the ceiling and never get noticed but alas, I'd like to do things. Anyway, he nabbed a lot of small tech (phones, tablets, etc) from the last world so he'd like to get with a techie/computer whiz or two and see what can be made from them if anything useful. Looking at you, Tony. I just...haven't had a chance to post anything yet. Soon!
CR wanted: Anything is good here, too. He needs people to bother him and get him to be more sociable. Also maybe talk to some spider people. Because spiders are cool.

About them: Young Wizards is a series about a group of young teens who gain power with amazing possibilities, but only if they commit to helping the Powers That Be with various tasks or battles. For the rest of their lives! It is for the protection and well being of life through the universe though, so no problem, right?
Dairine is a wizard from New York who specializes in computers, robots, any non-organic life really, intergalactic travel, and most recently stars. She's also a notorious know-it-all and a brat with a heart of gold.
Plans: Slowly getting her used to yet another world without outside transit. Reconnecting to old CRAU where she can, making new friends.
CR wanted: All the CR. Especially fun are different species or folks who can use telepathy.
Things to avoid: Prefer to avoid the death and anything too excessively romancey.
