Void Trecking

The thing about being on a train hurtling through void space is there’s not much to see. Outside the window lies an endless void of kaleidoscope colours shifting and swirling. It’s probably best not to stare at it too long. Do so and you might start to imagine order in it. Shapes, places, even figures. But your eyes shift... Back to chaos. Probably best you do something else other than stare out the window. Or convince your fellow passengers that void watching leads to headaches!

Board Games

The game carriage is full of games. Every board game imaginable from silly party games to serious strategy games that last for hours. There are a disproportionate amount of games about trains.

Grab some friends, grab a game and some beanbags and get playing! Dive into a world of deck building or play a silly card game. A great way to alleviate boredom.

Happy Holidays

You have arrived in a place which might remind you of Victoria London if Victoria London had floating palaces and was ruled by wizards.

Their rule is strict and any kind of Winter celebration is banned. You have been called by a group of rebels to help with an underground celebration.

Team One

Distraction. Be out in the city, keep watch. If the guards get anywhere near the secret entrances distract them. Perhaps by being a lost tourist. Perhaps by causing mayhem. Make sure the organisers and party goers can arrive without a hitch.

Team Two

A party is not complete without food. The party is being held underground and there isn't much in the way of kitchens and do help bake in people's houses and smuggle the food across the city. Careful of guards.

Team Three

The venue needs decorating and the presents need wrapped. It might be an underground bunker but everyone is determined to make it the best festival ever, despite the risks. Help make it happen!

Party

Of course after all that hard work there is time to celebrate before you must board the train once more.

Ahaha! Did I surprise you?

[Fai can't resist a bit of a laugh when Atem drops so quickly back from the window. It's meant to be a harmless laugh, though.

He takes his seat, then holds the hot chocolate out to Atem again.]

Here - it's chocolate made into a warm drink. They're delicious.

[His opinion on the taste of hot chocolate is said energetically, and almost with a bit of fondness, recalling a time when he made them himself in another world.]

「 Ah, how embarrassing... while the laugh is not malicious, it does make the Pharaoh a little self-conscious of the situation he put himself in. He's absolutely and completely vulnerable here. Not that anyone would know who he is in here... it shouldn't matter, but it does, to him.

Atem takes a better look at the offered mug. Its contents are rather strange and unknown, but the sweet smell it emits is rather curious. He leans on to take it. Truthfully he shouldn't be accepting strange beverages from strangers... 」

To what do I owe this gift?

「 And what on earth is chocolate...? He doesn't drink from it, not yet. 」

Mmm.... I suppose it's just because.

[And also because he's not too sure what the age-limit is on alcohol is in this world.... or.... whatever-this-is. It's different than traveling by Mokona, for sure. And, while he could get away with it with the kids in their travels, it's a bit riskier when your by yourself and amongst strangers.

Still, he remembers when Yuuko gifted them back in Oto, and suddenly his face lights up with revelation.]

Oh! Don't worry, I'm not expecting anything in return, if that's what you're worried about. Though I wouldn't mind just talking.

「 Just because...? It's rare to have people do things for him, just because. They were either thankful (for his mere presence), or needed a favor, which Atem was always more than happy to try to fulfill, they are his people, after all. But this, this is new, he's sure this person doesn't know who he is... It's a nice sensation.

The young Pharaoh shakes his head slightly. 」 I was merely curious, it's... 「 new... Maybe he shouldn't bring too much attention to himself, so he simply gives a little shrug, bringing the mug close to his face, smelling the delicious smell from it... He's never smelled something so sweet and mouthwatering. He won't lie, never in his life has he tried a food or drink that hasn't been tasted before him...

There's a first time for everything, right? He takes a very small sip form it. 」
