Test Drive Meme 007

Welcome to our Test Drive Meme! Here is the place to see how your character might fit the setting, grab some samples and start having fun!

1. Post with your character. I’ve written out some prompts but feel free to make up your own, you have a whole train to play with!

2. Assume they have been around long enough for threads to jump right into the action!

3. Have much fun!

Happy testing!

Void Trecking

The thing about being on a train hurtling through void space is there’s not much to see. Outside the window lies an endless void of kaleidoscope colours shifting and swirling. It’s probably best not to stare at it too long. Do so and you might start to imagine order in it. Shapes, places, even figures. But your eyes shift... Back to chaos. Probably best you do something else other than stare out the window. Or convince your fellow passengers that void watching leads to headaches!

Board Games

The game carriage is full of games. Every board game imaginable from silly party games to serious strategy games that last for hours. There are a disproportionate amount of games about trains.

Grab some friends, grab a game and some beanbags and get playing! Dive into a world of deck building or play a silly card game. A great way to alleviate boredom.

Happy Holidays

You have arrived in a place which might remind you of Victoria London if Victoria London had floating palaces and was ruled by wizards.

Their rule is strict and any kind of Winter celebration is banned. You have been called by a group of rebels to help with an underground celebration.

Team One

Distraction. Be out in the city, keep watch. If the guards get anywhere near the secret entrances distract them. Perhaps by being a lost tourist. Perhaps by causing mayhem. Make sure the organisers and party goers can arrive without a hitch.

Team Two

A party is not complete without food. The party is being held underground and there isn't much in the way of kitchens and do help bake in people's houses and smuggle the food across the city. Careful of guards.

Team Three

The venue needs decorating and the presents need wrapped. It might be an underground bunker but everyone is determined to make it the best festival ever, despite the risks. Help make it happen!

Party

Of course after all that hard work there is time to celebrate before you must board the train once more.

Eat drink and be merry!

Korg the Kronan | MCU

Board Games

"I'm unsure about the structural integrity of a train that runs on clouds," Korg objected. Structural integrit was very important in Kronan culture. It came from the unique engineering challenges of designing infrastructure for man sized creatures that weighed half of a ton. The fact that this was a children's game called 'Cloud Train' was largely lost on him.

"Is this a planet where the clouds are actually rocks? I think I'd like to see that planet."

Team 3

Korg has volunteered for giftwrapping. He is more dexterous than you would expect, the result of which is still so very, very terrible. Each gift he goes through takes twice as long and ends up looking like a gift that was ran through a sandblaster, with haphazard layers of scotch tape heavily and unevenly applied on top.

Korg is quick to point out how shoddy the job is. "I think this one looks like The Grand Master, don't you think? If you squint and maybe had a concussion."

Party

Korg has never been good at parties. No one ever invited him to them, and the one time he made his own party, only his brother in law showed up, and that was only to ask for money. Korg was still sore about that five dollars.

Brrrrrrrrr! He blew on the party favor thing that rolls out when you blow on it. What is that thing called? Some kind of party snake? A twizzler? Worm flute, perhaps. Oh, there's someone, let's try to make conversation!

"The worm flutes are very pleasing," he said, satisfied with his approach.

Party!

Bucky did not expect to end up at a party, but he was expecting a giant rock to come talk to him even less than that. He looks up, and up, until he finds Korg's face. "Worm flutes?" he asks, and even cracks a little smile when he realizes what Korg is referring to. "Is that what those are called?" He doesn't think so, but he can't remember the real name, either.

"Much more satisfying than real worms. Those can be a pain to get rid of once they've burrowed into your metamophospleen." Meaning of course, his rock spleen. A very important organ in Kronans. Very rock-like which is a high compliment.

"Lets not get bogged down in names, or we'll be here all day with me asking 'oh, what lovely crinkle paper this is,' or 'my what a wonderful idea it was to throw multicolored kindling in every direction.' Presumably the celebration will end with setting the building on fire, right?" Go out with a bang, as it were.

Korg would probably skip the after party, truth be told.
luckybucky: (That was super cute)

Bucky has no idea what a metamophospleen is, but it sounds important. "Real worms are only good for fishing," he agrees. "But I don't think they're going to burn the building down. People usually sweep that kind of stuff up at the end of the night. They might throw it on a bonfire or something," since throwing it in the trash would probably get them in trouble.

He leans over towards a nearby table, picking up a 'worm flute' of his own and blowing on it. They didn't have these around when he was a kid, but they do make a fun little sound. "Are you enjoying the party?" Because honestly, there are worse people that could be talking to him right now, and Korg seems to be a delightful sort of weird.

"I feel my heart growing at least two sizes. Do they have doctors on this planet? I should have that looked at." He took a seat opposite Bucky.

Korg wasn't sure if he was partying 'hard' enough, which was ironic, given the high iron content of his body.

"Do you have any tips on how I might up my party game? At least a level or two."

For a second, Bucky's eyes go wide as he worries, just for a moment, that Korg really is in trouble -- until he realizes he's heard something similar before. In a certain Christmas cartoon.

He manages another smile, though this one a bit uneasy. "I'm not very good at parties, anymore, but sometimes showing up is enough to make people happy," and that's worth doing. "You could wear a Santa hat?"

"In my experience, showing up results in exasperated sighs and insistent nagging."

Oh Korg, why haven't you found a nice wife yet? When's the last time you challenged someone to a fight to the death? Are you eating enough? It was enough to make you want to move out of your mother's house.

"But we can try out this hat thing. Is that the cones people are wearing?" Also made of paper. Whats with humans and paper?
