December Information and CR Meme!

We hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.

IC Month

This month is the month of Catfish. Days can be found here.

The thought of the month is "It is good to have an end to journey towards but it is the journey that matters in the end."

The challenge is: Any thread that comes to a neat ending during the month of November or December will earn you two team points! Threads can have been started earlier but they need to be neatly wrapped/concluded in those two months.

Threads that fulfil this criteria can be submitted during December AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC!

Recipes are here. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom and characters are welcome to make other food with them.

This months chore assignments are:

Red: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Orange: Meal Preparation
Blue: Laundry
Purple: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms

The Train.

When characters returned from their mission there was a room shuffle. If you haven't already check your room listing.

Points have been updated on the passenger roster and the shop has been updated! Have fun spending your points!

If your character does anything to alter to the setting please let me know!

Important Dates

This month event will be a train event on 17th and 18th December.

Reserves will open 16th December with a TDM on the same day. Apps are between 21st and 28th December. AC will run 23rd to 30th December.

Other Info

December tends to be very busy for everyone everywhere! Because of that AC this month will be check in only. As long as you check in on the AC post when it goes up you will pass AC and get the 5 points for doing so. There will still be the opportunity to claim bonus challenge AC. If you are holding a strike from November you will have the option to either clear it in December or take the free check in and carry your strike over into January.

About them: Long-suffering magical ex-cop who's now on her third unwilling heroic crusade. Didn't arrive with weapons, just wants her gunblade back. Give Lightning A Gun 2k19. Big Sister extraordinaire. Still one of the designated white mages of the train, to her dismay. Cabin 1-A, Red team.
Plans: She needs to get back into the swing of things. Probably gonna be awkwardly talking to people to catch up. Re-establishing CR. She'll patrol the train a bit more now that we've lost the primary Space Train Cop.
CR wanted: Please she needs extroverted people who'll drag her into their nonsense.
Things to avoid: Eh!!

Character: Nameless Spider (Kumoko, Charlotte, Ede)
About them: My classroom was destroyed by dimensional magic and so I reincarnated as a spider monster in the most dangerous labyrinth in the world??? What's happening! What's happening! Sage-level magic user trapped in the body of a spider the height of a grown man. Cabin 1-D, Orange team.
Plans: HOLIDAY SPIDER IS HERE. She's going to start checking with people what kinds of clothes they want and then everyone! Is getting! An outfit!. Because producing spidersilk takes nutrients, she's also going to be eating for like. ten people this month, so if you're a Known Chef she's going to be balefully teleporting you into the kitchen to cook for her sometimes.
CR wanted: Everything. Everyone needs to expand their CR with spider.
Things to avoid: She's a giant spider idk what to tell you.

Character: Conan Edogawa (The train keeps insisting that his name is Shinichi Kudo, but he's sticking to the story that someone got him confused with his cousin)
About them: Former high school detective, currently living in hiding under a false name while trying to investigate the evil crime organization that poisoned and accidentally shrank him. He's a magnet for all kinds of crimes, especially murders.
Plans: Tony's making him a replacement skateboard, so expect insane daredevil skateboarding stunts in the future. He's highly stressed at the moment, between trying to figure out how much the train knows about his situation and knowing that there isn't anything he can do about investigating the organization or finding a cure for himself while he's stuck here.
CR wanted: More CR with kids. More CR with concerned adults. Long term goals, I want him to get more CR with people he can trust. He's not great at trust and friendship... but he really needs it.
Things to avoid: As long as no one announces his secrets to the train at large, its good.

Character: Danny Fenton
About them: Yet another teenage superhero, this one with ghost powers. He likes bad puns, astronomy and video games. He used to have a secret identity, but he kind of gave up on that when he transformed in the final evacuation from the planet.
Plans: Finish his "everyone knows I'm a ghost" freak out. Goal this month is to get him more comfortable with the idea. Also he hates Christmas, so expect him to be extra moody this month.
CR wanted: All the CR! But especially fellow superheroes and people willing to drag him into shenanigans.

About them: FFXIV; tol bunny woman with decidedly too much hair. She's an engineer-, uh, she's very handy with steampunk/magitek type devices. She is humble to the point of almost irritation (ask Tony he can vouch for it). She tends towards being reserved but she's quite friendly, even if her face is pretty neutral 98% of the time. She'll be cabin 2C with the arguing elves (v sad she's not gonna choke Tony with her hair anymore) and is on purple team!
Plans: She's just getting back you know, she has a book from one of the leading researchers of aether and magitek so she's gonna give that to Tony, helping Kaito make magic gadget stuff!!
CR wanted: If at least one of you doesn't hug her I'm gonna regret bringing her back. >:C For CR honestly give her more friends and I wanna talk to more of you I didn't talk to before tbh I'm a baddie I'm sorry
Things to avoid: This isn't a hard no but she doesn't really like people touching her ears (that being said if you ask she might let you)

Character: Prisoner
About them: Dead Cells. Sarcastic, snarky, a blob on fire: he's ya boi Prisoner. We're all in trouble once he learns sign language and he can appropriately cuss - until then we get wild hand waving. Keep in mind his corpse is BLUE and it's kinda GROSS because it was DISEASED. Head is hot and can be used to toast marshmallows. Cabin 1E, asshole team red team!
Plans: set dressing room on fire thanks Kumoko this isn't even his fault, someday we're putting this blob in a large mason jar
CR wanted: EvErYtHiNg - I'll have more specifics after the ball gets rolling and we kinda see how he responds to everything but ultimately I want him to have lots of bros and to create the decapitation crew ldkjaslf, also kiddos keep in mind this idiot will hand you his weapon to play with if you ask so I'll just leave that here

Tony Stark + Note about Heiji Hattori

About them: Tony is a war god who has single handed saved millions of worlds and has developed every single bit of technology that ever existed. And now he's laughing at you if you believed that crap. He's sarcastic, arrogant, irreverent, and will go to the ends of the world to help or save someone. He's an Avenger from that very obscure movie series that no one has heard of- MCU. Spoilers: He's from the exact moment before he snaps his fingers in Endgame. He's currently in a relationship with Ignis from Final Fantasy XV and he's adopted about everyone under the age of 15 plus a really old vampire who just looks under the age of 15. He's the moderator of the train council, leader of the red team, and has self-appointed himself as leader of the train. He's one of the oldest people on the train and yet has been the most frequent drunk and has repeatedly been rather destructive of train property. So good luck with him.
Plans: Tony has a lot of plans. A lot. This month though, he's fixing the ventilation system on the train so cigarette smoke will no longer be dangerous if someone is asthmatic and will be generally less stinky for those who have a nose. I'm pretty sure the kids are planning to prank him at some point.
CR wanted: I'm open for anything :) I welcome both positive and negative CR.
Things to avoid: If you sing Baby Shark, he will end you. But no, there's not to avoid. He's already a walking CW.

Note: Hattori has disappeared and is on hiatus until I can get his voice back. It's been kind of crazy IRL lately so unfortunately I needed to cut back somewhere.

About them: Canon - Final Fantasy XV. Ignis was raised alongside Prince (now King in his timeline) Noctis. He's resourceful, tactical, a strategist, and a healer. He's pretty savvy with magic and summons his weapons which are pole arms & daggers. With the daggers he can elementally infuse them & can throw them with pinpoint accuracy. This one is serious and nurturing and loves the hell out of his Blue team which he is the leader of. Besides his pride in his team, Ignis takes pride in his cooking skills and in his beau Tony Stark. (aka Iron Man)
Plans: Working on a small christmas party for his team which Tony is going to host because Ignis will be cooking. Somehow that might turn out to be a lot bigger than just them because he'll want their other friends there too that aren't on the Blue Team. Also there's a library project given to him that he'll be working on, plus he needs to officially talk to Raven about training Madoka up, get his beau a suit and find Princess in the laundry.
CR wanted: All of the things. He can cook, clean, sew, fight/train, heal and loves coffee. This man likes to read, he's used to being a good listener and he's also finding that he's becoming a big brother/Dad like figure to his team and to some of the kids on the train. Send help.

About them: Pete's from that one series about all the superheros. He's a very helpful and kind boy. He is one of three Spider-Kids on the train but probably the most disastrous. He loves science and his family. He has some issues with insomnia but then again, who doesn't? Mostly, he can be found messing with things in Tony's makeshift lab, in the dressing car, or the gaming car.
Plans: Messing with stuff in Mr Stark's lab, read all the books, play video games, maybe sneak off to make out with his girlfriend at some point. You know, normal teenage stuff.
CR wanted: Everything. He is a good boy and likes to meet new people.
Things to avoid: I'm pretty difficult to offend but don't call Peter Einstein, he will freak out :c

Plans: Well I'm gonna try and rp more than last month lol. Reigen is still in theory mode on what exactly the train even is. He will also cook at some point since that's the chore and canon recently told me he's actually good at cooking, who'd've thunk.
CR wanted: Everything, cr building is my fave. Reigen could always use more friends.

About them: A musician who plays the guqin and a great swordsman, he comes from a world of fantasy Ancient China. Also, this is his mischievious husband, who he is often seen closely by his side on board and for upcoming missions.
Plans: Settling in his new home, meeting roommates, people, allies. If you meet him on the TDM, feel free to remember their first meeting/encounter or start over anew! Also, someone must teach him about this sorcery called technology! In the meanwhile, being part of the blue team he can be seen helping to do the laundry the old fashion way like hanging them up to dry when there are actual functional dryers I think.
CR wanted: Anyone who bumps into him on the train, he is most likely to help out with chores to keep himself busy until the train stops on the next world. Friends, allies, children, siblings, or team up for the next mission!

But look at him! He has friends! Probably more than he's ever had. Real people that tolerate him because they like him and not because his dad is the king or he's a genius and they want something from him. He made things... in a finite time gasp... and then gave them all away! It was hard but wow Progress!
Plans: Spectacular Noldor Family Drama. His wife is coming and he has some explaining to do... that he'd really really really really like to avoid because words are hard (trust him, he's a linguist). Especially words that start with admitting he was WRO... not exactly right on some a lot things.

About them: Teen Titans (not go); half-demon daughter of Trigon who wants no part of his plan to conquer Earth (much less to be a tool for him to do so). She's quiet and snarky, but is slowly opening up a bit. She misses her friends but honestly believes it's better for her being on the VT Express right now, and is making new ones.
Plans: Teaching Madoka basic control and shielding (via meditation as a start). I think she's being roped into teaching some others, helping with Ignis' Library, and I'm not sure what else....
CR wanted: I like CR? Friends are good, even if she's in process of that with a few.
Things to avoid: Anything major that might be traumatic please check with me first? I promise I don't bite.
