Welcome to our Test Drive Meme! Here is the place to see how your character might fit the setting, grab some samples and start having fun!

Void Trecking

The thing about being on a train hurtling through void space is there’s not much to see. Outside the window lies an endless void of kaleidoscope colours shifting and swirling. It’s probably best not to stare at it too long. Do so and you might start to imagine order in it. Shapes, places, even figures. But your eyes shift... Back to chaos. Probably best you do something else other than stare out the window. Or convince your fellow passengers that void watching leads to headaches!

Relaxing

The newest carriage to be added to the Voidtrecker Express is a rock garden. In a glass domed carriage, flickering with the light of the void the rock garden is a peaceful and medative space, full of mosaics, a pond, fountains and small stony bridges.

It's also the closest to an outside space you have and so is likely to be used for less than peacful activities. Splash in the rivers, race around the paths. Or try and relax on a bench and read amongst the chaos.

Goblin Town

Goblins riding wolves, everyone's favourite foe. The wolves fly, obviously and the goblins fight with short spears, almost like knights on horseback if the knights were terrifying and demonic looking. They are causing trouble by harassing a small village.

Team One

Fight the goblins. A handful of weapons have been provided but mostly you need to try and outsmart the goblins. They can come from any direction, including up. Try and keep the village safe from their attacks.

Team Two

Protect the villagers, help them barricade their houses. Deal with any goblins that get through team one's defences. Some of the villagers want to help and that's alright, some of the villagers want to help and are still in single digits, that's probably less alright. Keep everyone safe!

Team Three

The thing with sieges is, some things still need to happen. People still need to eat. Babies need fed and looked after. Animals need tended. Try and help with the logistics of everything in the heart of the village, as far away from the fighting as possible.

"Blimey. A bundle of laughs, you are." The Doctor mutters at that metaphor. "That implies that we have no hope of stopping it or taking control of the situation ourselves." He points out, letting go of his shoulder and crossing his arms.

"Now, I am a bit miffed my TARDIS seems to be missing but she'll turn up. She always does."

“Thanks! I am a delight.” Beetlejuice did look absolutely pleased, taking it as a compliment.

“Just because it’s bleak and utterly hopeless doesn’t mean we can’t have fun. Doom can be fun! More so when it’s other people, but, that’s just normal.”

The Doctor had the demon’s attention. “What’s a Tardis? Some kind of English dish with beans?”

"Ooh... Perhaps I should work on my sarcasm a bit. I don't think it came off right." The Doctor says, frowning at the demon.

"I'm actually I'm anti-doom and destruction-I'm the guy you call to avoid doom." He says proudly.

"And no. The TARDIS is my ship. I arrived without her somehow but I'll work itself out."

“Oh. So, you’re boring.”

Beetlejuice nodded sagely. “I’m the guy people call when they need a bio-exorcist.”

"Furthest thing from." The doctor says, not even phased by the insult.

"Bio-exorcist. Like.. humans possessed by ghosts, that sort of thing?"

“More like—flushing out the breathing people so the dead ones can enjoy their house.” He flashed a toothy smile. “In peace.”

"Oh I see." The Doctor nods, even though he's pretty sure he doesn't like the sound of that.

"Sounds a bit...oh what's that words the kids use... sketchy? Why not just share the house. People can be very nice."

[creepyoldguy]

"Because it belongs to the dead guys."

Beetlejuice made an exasperated gesture. "Just imagine that your hom--ship. You die in your ship. And stick around. Then some other bozo comes around and changes all your stuff around. It's annoying the hell outta you."

He raised a finger. "But, they can't see you. So they have no idea. And they also don't care, because they bought it something. So, sometimes ghosts need a little help from someone who can be seen."

"I'm the sort that would look for some kind of agreement. And my ship is would never allow anyone to mess with her-besides-she moves rooms around all the time. Must think it's funny or something." He shrugs.

"...you'd get along with the Maitlands. They're the universe's most boring married dead couple."

"Being kind doesn't make you boring." The Doctor says flatly. "It just makes you kind."

[creepyoldguy]

"I mean, kind...is kinda...in the eye of the beholder and some crap. Like helping a dead couple keep their house, now, to them? That's kind."

Beetlejuice made an expressive gesture. "But, to the living people running in terror from the newly-deads, not so much."

He followed this with a what-can-yo-do shrug. "Can't please everyone."

"Well, yes. I suppose. But scaring anyone is mean-and then that just makes the dead couple mean. I hope they learned the error of their ways." He states nonchalantly.

"And no, you can't. But you can try to always to do what has to be done."

"Scaring people is fun. Ask my bffff."
