Test Drive Meme 006
1. Post with your character. I’ve written out some prompts but feel free to make up your own, you have a whole train to play with!
2. Assume they have been around long enough for threads to jump right into the action!
3. Have much fun!
Happy testing!
Void Trecking
The thing about being on a train hurtling through void space is there’s not much to see. Outside the window lies an endless void of kaleidoscope colours shifting and swirling. It’s probably best not to stare at it too long. Do so and you might start to imagine order in it. Shapes, places, even figures. But your eyes shift... Back to chaos. Probably best you do something else other than stare out the window. Or convince your fellow passengers that void watching leads to headaches!
Relaxing
The newest carriage to be added to the Voidtrecker Express is a rock garden. In a glass domed carriage, flickering with the light of the void the rock garden is a peaceful and medative space, full of mosaics, a pond, fountains and small stony bridges.
It's also the closest to an outside space you have and so is likely to be used for less than peacful activities. Splash in the rivers, race around the paths. Or try and relax on a bench and read amongst the chaos.
Goblin Town
Goblins riding wolves, everyone's favourite foe. The wolves fly, obviously and the goblins fight with short spears, almost like knights on horseback if the knights were terrifying and demonic looking. They are causing trouble by harassing a small village.
Team One
Fight the goblins. A handful of weapons have been provided but mostly you need to try and outsmart the goblins. They can come from any direction, including up. Try and keep the village safe from their attacks.
Team Two
Protect the villagers, help them barricade their houses. Deal with any goblins that get through team one's defences. Some of the villagers want to help and that's alright, some of the villagers want to help and are still in single digits, that's probably less alright. Keep everyone safe!
Team Three
The thing with sieges is, some things still need to happen. People still need to eat. Babies need fed and looked after. Animals need tended. Try and help with the logistics of everything in the heart of the village, as far away from the fighting as possible.
Pick a team, go wild!

"Uh... sorry. I'm Uh... Just checking to see how you're adapting-I can teach you to play a game though-it might take your mind off the train?"
no subject
"Okay," he replied quietly. "You should pick the game," because Bucky sure as heck wasn't going to recognize them, or even have a preference. "How did we meet?" he asked, because he could, and because Peter didn't seem the least bit afraid of him.
no subject
"Oh-Uh... We met in Berlin but that was uh.. back in 2017 so I don't-I think I might be a little ahead of you. But uh-actually, I'm gonna be real honest, I have no idea what was going on but Mr Stark wanted me to fight Cap cause apparently he went crazy or something? No one really explained it to me."

"Oh! It's a game-You control a go kart and race. Usually there's just a few laps. But they don't have Mario-Kart here but they do have Space-Racer, which is similar and a lot of fun."

"I'm not sure exactly where the train is going but it's gotta be going somewhere. I hope we stop soon though because I get really bored super easy and hate being in the same spot for long. Which I guess I technically wouldn't be because we're still traveling through the void-but still."

"There's no need for all that-Hydra's not-Oh sorry, Is that a trigger word for you? I should have asked first. Did you ever notice their logo isn't a Hy-uh... Greek Mythological creature? It looks more like an angry octopus-or the Cthulhu. Like, whoever designed that obviously didn't know what they hell they were supposed to be drawing."

He nods as the question-he'd actually really enjoyed Lovecraft. "I read a lot. Or I did-I still kinda do-but a lot less since becoming Spider-Man. But yeah, the Hydra logo doesn't have three heads-it looks like a tentacle monster."

He leads them through one of the quiet cars and then into the gaming car, still chatting away. "Well, at least you don't have to worry about them here because they'd have like... no power and I'm pretty sure Mr Stark would find some way to throw them out of airlock."

"Nah, not all day. I have chores I gotta do, and I like to bother Mr Stark in his lab sometimes."

He pulled the glasses on, and a few seconds later pushed them up. Down, up. Down, up. He wasn’t sure what they were supposed to do, but it was definitely strange putting them on.

"You'v never seen or read James Bond before, have you?" He asks as he flips the console on and then puts his own glasses up, quickly setting the game for two players.
"We'll do a tutorial track so you can get the hang of it and it'll walk you through stuff. But uh... this part steers and press x to hit the gas-the weird squiggly thing shoots things at people and the square is for reverse."

"All the Bond villains have this habit of like... monologue their diabolical plans when they capture Bond who always escapes and triumphs in the end. But they're usually a fun ride even if you know the formula."

He was going to love Austin Powers. As soon as the tutorial started, his ship zoomed off. And immediately crashed.
no subject
"Man, that's rough. But don't worry, you'll respawn in a minute." He assures.

He respawns, and this time he was a little more cautious. He crashes often, but he doesn't get upset -- he even lets out a laugh at one when he was bumped off the course. "You were right," he decides quickly. "This is fun. Really weird, but." Fun.
He wasn't used to fun, but he decides that he likes it a lot. And, by extension, Peter.
