Oh, I am torn because I could see this two ways. Than helping Zag could give him something concrete to help with, though I also see Than being scared of doing something wrong and make things worse. Give Zag more ammo for proving Than being helpful.
But Zag helping Than could also give Than another instance of someone trying to actively find and help him, rather than just leaving him be or stumbling upon him... which Than has already told Zag before that he doesn't expect to be found when in trouble, proving that wrong too.
Or, trying to meet each other halfway somehow so they break each other out.
