He nods and turns his face towards the sky as well, letting his eyes take in what might be the last sky he sees for awhile. It is strange to think he is about to be trapped inside of this thing. But as long as he has Wei Ying by his side, he will endure and accept anything that he must do while in this place.
If this is the Wei Ying of his world, or there is something far deeper going on, it seems neither of them can be sure. But for now he will take comfort in the fact that a Wei Ying is here. One that is familiar and doesn't have animal parts growing out of his body. He will make sure that this journey is like any other that they chose to go on together. They will walk side by side and Lan Zhan will never make the mistake of letting him go again.
