Jiang Cheng being a better communicator than others in his experience, he says nothing beyond, "Good! Jiang Cheng has to be so happy to see you," because while there's no reason to say anyone is happy someone showed up here, he still believes it's true.

"What has he said in all this? I can't believe it, seeing you here, and... ah. Your good... dog."

He pointedly doesn't look through the crowd to find said good dog.

"I'm glad to see you, too. It's been months," he says with a crooked grin, and he means back home, not train time. Living on the road tends to go these ways.
