Koumyou will take a black band for at least this mission. He may or may not keep it for future ones, but this one's pretty uniquely suited to him because:
He's made of holiness and light and can do huge AOE holy light shit with his sutra, so unless I'm misunderstanding the setting he is going to give the demons a Real Bad Time wherever he goes.
He is probably going to be mostly with red, accordingly. Kind of a waste not to go on the offensive in this case.
If anything goes particularly sideways, throwing him right into the middle of it like a holy hand grenade nuclear bomb might be an excellent idea.
(Which is all stuff he'd tell her, too.)
His one request is that if Devero calls for help, please yank him over there so he can clean house.
