If Dev asked him to V would be more than happy to lend himself over to helping. He's not a healer but he could stabilize the wounded while waiting for healers to come around (if they have a high volume of wounded), and he could help with guard duty. Might not be as useful as the magic users but he's a pretty tough guy.

Pending how large the camp is/how far patrols range, system ranges, and Dev's system, V would be willing to open up a port for a direct (encrypted) basically phone call to keep comms between them. Allow for information to propagate quickly through camp or phone back home to base across train team lines.

I admit I just don't like the idea of having two characters go on the same mission and V makes less sense on blue since his charisma is like negative 3 and his intimidation is like plus 5
