"I'm just thinking of the people who claim to have godly powers here, too," Gen mused. "So why kidnap some and take requests from others? If there's any logic to this, instead of random chance, I'd imagine the train would want to snatch this god up instead. They're bound to be a little more useful than us mere mortals."

He shrugged. "But I really don't think logic is driving any of this, at this point."

Gen told her, "I've been told a couple of times that time doesn't pass in our ... err, home realities, home worlds? However you want to say it. So, if you're here because of a plot to keep you from wrecking some god's master plan, that wouldn't work if nothing changes, would it?"
