That Koumyou couldn't be in two places at once was technically true. At least, not without pulling out the big guns.
But he was starting to dial into the faint disruption of chi that marked an attacking ghost's location. It was like something invisible but solid sticking out of the water in a stream -- he couldn't see the ghosts, but he was starting to see the disruption in flow.
Only when the ghosts attacked, alas. Koumyou supposed it was their expenditure of energy to throw solid things that actually caused the ripple.
Still, he was very fast on his feet, and terribly nimble. As soon as something started to float, Koumyou was on his way, at one point vaulting over the huddled group of civilians. When he couldn't reach the projectile in time, it was up to Zechs, the priest sometimes prioritizing the ghost instead of the weapon.
When it was over and nothing had levitated for a few seconds, the priest straightened up out of his stance and ran a hand over his own hair. "Phew! Well, I for one am definitely awake now!"
