"Yeah, I'd imagine it would, it's a lot more palatable cooked," Gen agreed with a sheepish little smile.

His eyes were sharp, though, and he saw those splotches.

That didn't mean he'd say anything about them, yet. He was curious about what they meant, though, and would continue to observe.

"If you're hungry, I could whip up something with a far better texture, at least," Gen offered brightly.
