He won't find anything particularly useful. There is a clean up crew there and they won't be keen to let him past (but he can sneak past if he wishes). It is a pile of rubble, most everything is destroyed and work is being done to try and stabilise nearby tunnels- they are surface tunnels so don't have people living there.
Parts of the area are more dangerous than others, there are still smoking areas, harsh smell of chemicals, etc. There is no obvious reason for an explosion here (but it is a bit of a mess so hard to tell really). But the explosion has been absolutely effective in wrecking the place. They find nothing intact. No computer, piece of equipment, everything is destroyed.
