"So far," he echoes but it's more of an afterthought he'll revisit later in the conversation. Right now he wants to go over their present circumstances before worrying about possibilities that may never come to reality. He needed to figure out what he was working with before he could put anything together. He had to be prepared should someone like Sephiroth or any part of him showed up.
He pushed that thought out of his mind for a bit as he returned to their more immediate circumstances.
"Yuffie? Yes, I remember her. What an interesting group we have here." He paused, idly tapping his pen against the notebook with a slight smile that lasted only a moment. "That's not much to work with but I suppose it's better than nothing. What Summon did you get?"
He would have preferred they have access to more useful materia like fire or lightning. "I want to identify allies here who may not be from our world. If it's just the four of us here it's doubtful that anyone here knows of Shinra's reputation. That makes it easier for us to gain access to information and other resources." It had been interesting to pass by people who didn't look at him twice aside from the occasional look at the cane. He was used to either having to hide his identity or remain under the protection of the Turks it was a new experience to be just another passenger.
