[Magic isn't all Satou expects of herself. She needs to know how to fight without it too. So on that day, she had made plans to meet with other train passengers and learn some new techniques. The magical girl is just finishing her stretches when she sees a familiar face approaching.]
Ah! You made it! [Giggling energetically, Satou walks up to her friend.] I'm all~llll ready to learn!

[Satou is not a child. She repeats that to herself over and over, as if the mental repetition will make it true. As a Guardian in Genessia and a Magical Girl back home, she has no time anymore for things like games. Instead, she would normally busy herself with training, with paperwork, with survival--
But the train has her spoiled. There's a gap in her self-set schedule and a whole carriage full of board games. Under the guise of organizing them, Satou begins sorting through the various board games. Her mind wanders, imagining how much fun it would have been to play some of these games with her previous 'family.' Being with them was the one time in her life when she felt safe as a 'child.' Up until that lively and noisy household became empty and silent. She can't be a child, she reminds herself. Because she will never have a home to feel safe in, she must always be her own mature provider and protector.
She stares down at the game that she's holding. When someone approaches, Satou abruptly notices them due to her empathy. Surprised, she throws the box in the air and empties all of the box's contents on the ground.]
Oh-- Fiddlehecks! I'm so sorry! Please, I'll pick it up! It's my fault, sorry!

[With no doubt, Satou has magically turned her wet suit to a hot pink shade. She holds her wand in a tight grip, eyes attentive to the situation. Not yet in the water, but about to leap in with the team. Used to being a leader, she accidentally tosses out some bossy orders.]
Are you better at close or ranged combat? I can do both, but I need to know where you'll be first.
