Walking on her own two feet, without the use of a wheelchair or cane, Sonya wasn't sure she'd be able to sit down for an hour for a movie. She still wasn't use to having evenings off..so much time off.
She could recall the last time she'd seen a movie though; years ago, when she'd taken time off to visit Jacqui and Jax while they were on medical leave. Even that was in passing, someone had put on an old movie and she only watched to keep them company.
The children's movie made her scoff, wondering why'd they go for something for so young an audience. She tried not to think of weekend mornings, the few times she was home, listening to the tv screen as Cassie watched her cartoons.
She really wished they'd selected a different movie.
Mission: team two.
Much as Sonya hated to admit it, she was glad to finally be given the clear all for a mission. Being stuck on this 'train' was bad enough, but feeling useless was even worse.
She would've loved to have been out in the trees, fighting the creatures in their element. Yet she was still working to get into fighting shape, and she didn't trust her reflexes just yet to keep balance. Fighting the creatures on the platforms, allowing the others to get to safety, that was something she felt sure enough to do.
They did allow her one of her energy gauntlets atleast, and she was able to repair it from the damage after her arrival. Just one was enough to blast and stun the creatures before they could attack either civilian or one of the team members.
Sonya Blade | Mortal Kombat | will match format
